Chapter 8- Dates

(Ella's POV)
Today is Monday and I was tired to get up and face school, no, I'm not going to.

"ELLA WAKE UP! DON'T BE SO DRAMATIC! IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE GOING TO STAY IN SCHOOL FOREVER!" Mom shouted from downstairs.

"But still! It felt like its been forever!" I said. I heard mom's footsteps coming upstairs.

Last night, when me and Marl heard that sound, we found out that it was Mindy's mom, knocking on the door.

"If you don't get up, you'll be grounded." Mom said.

"Mom." I whined. I got up and went to the bathroom.

Minutes later.

I was done taking a bath and I was ready to go now. Mom gave me my keys last night and I was able to drive again. I got to my car and drove to school.

"Hey, Ella!" Piattos greeted me when I entered the school.

"Hey."

"Move! Move away bitches!" I heard someone shouted. I looked behind me and I see Rachel was running towards us but there are more people going on her way. She pushed them away and keep running with a brightly smile on her face. People was giving her dirty looks and demands.

"What's the good news?" I asked her as she stopped in front of us.

"Oh, nothing. I mean.. PROM NEXT WEEK! I'm very excited. I'm waiting for Raiden to ask me to be his date- wait, did I say Raiden?!" She gasped covering her mouth with both hands. We smirked at her, sensing something happened between the both of them.

"How about you El? Did someone asked you out?" Piattos asked me.

"No. You?" I asked her.

"Chad." She said.

"Wait, what?! OMG!" I squealed in joy. I didn't know they have something-wait oops-

"Shh. You know they can hear you from our house." She rolled her eyes but her smile is still there.

The bell rang.

"Okay, see you later guys." I told them and I walked to my first class.

Guess, back to basic.

Lunch time.

After I got foods from the Cafeteria, I sat with my friends who still keep chatting about homecoming.

"Mine is... Kian!" Lacey blurted out. I saw there are only me, Lacey, Piattos, and Rachel in the table. Where are the guys? I sat between Piattos and Rachel.

"Ooh! I'm very excited that we're going there!" Piattos said excitedly.

"But Raiden hasn't asked me out yet." Rachel said, frowning.

By the way..

"Where are the gu-" I was about to asked them where the guys are but then girls in the Cafeteria suddenly screamed excitedly and others were drooling at something-someone- they're looking at.

"What the hel-" I turned around and stopped mid-sentence. I see the boys were there, holding some guitars, they are there, Kian, Raiden, Chad, and wait wait wait, where the hell is Marl?! They were wearing some nice clothes and holding some balloons, flowers, and a banner that reads 'Will you go to prom with me Rachel?'

They started singing while strumming on their guitars. Raiden were singing 'Beautiful Soul' by Jesse McCartney and he is looking at Rachel. When I looked at Rachel, she stood there, mouth opened, and her hands were starting to cover her mouth completely in shock.

People start to look at Rachel and she moved forward and Raiden starts walking at her too. They're so sweet.

When Raiden was done singing, he asked Rachel.

"Will you go to prom with me?" He knelt his right knee and wait for Rachel's answer.

"Yes! Yes! I would love to!"

They're lucky they already have their dates, but hey, I can go on my own and hang with them when I get there.

They hugged and kissed, yeah they kissed. Everybody clapped and looked at them in awe.

I sat on the seat and ate my salad.

"ELLA!" Someone shouted and I looked at my back to see who's shouting my name. Rachel ran towards me.

"What?" I asked her in confusion. I really don't know what's happening.

"Come! Come! Come with me outside!" Rachel grabbed my arm but I held her back.

"Why?" I asked her.

"You'll know when we get there." She said.

Get there where?
