Chapter 4- That Was Easy

(Ella's POV)
*Monday*
Another bright new day! Yay! I happily took a shower then wore my black skinny jeans and a hot pink crop top. I ran downstairs, picked an apple then opened the front door.

"Mom! Take care of dad!" I shouted then I closed our door but I heard mom shouted back that she said, 'He knows how to take care of himself', I walked towards my car and turned on the engine then drove off to school.

I don't know why I'm really happy today, it's just that something's gonna happen that is amazing or fun, I guess. I parked my car at the school's parking lot. I cheerfully smiled at everyone when I stepped in those big doors in our school.

I noticed that Marl was still not here because if he is, he will be near the entrance, waiting for me.

I kept walking through the hallways and saw Marl's back meters away from me, he's wearing a different bag, but nevermind. I walked slowly then ran and hugged his back.

"There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you!" I giggled and hugged him tighter.

"Uh," He turned around and I felt my jaw dropped.

It's not Marl.

"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit." I cursed repeatedly, but actually he's pretty good looking.

"I'm Caleb Breslin." He said while he extends his hand waiting for me to shook it.

"I'm Ella Danes." We shook hands.

"I'm new here." He said while looking around then turned to look at me again.

"Is this how to welcome me?" He said then he smirked at me.

"U-uh, I thought it was my best friend." I said.

"Are you sure? Or is it that you just want to hug m-" he was cut off by another voice.

"EL! THERE YOU ARE!" Marl shouted behind me while he ran then when he stood beside me, he looked at the new guy confusedly.

"Uh, who are you?" Marl asked the guy.

"Oh, I'm Caleb, Caleb Breslin." Then they shook hands.

"Nice to meet you." Marl said nicely.

"Well, I need to go. Nice meeting you two, see you around." He walked away and I waved at him.

"Why are you talking to him?" Marl asked.

"Why? Isn't that bad?"

"U-uh-"

"Wait! Are you jealous?" I smirked at him.

"N-no! By the way, I'm just going to tell you that we need to babysit my little cousin on weekend-" He said but I cut him off.

"Where are your parents?" I stare at him, slightly in disbelief. I'm supposed to take a dance lessons this weekend.

"They're going to Los Angeles to get Maxine." Marl said.

If you're wondering, Maxine is Marl's younger sister, she's in Los Angeles staying with her Aunt because-I don't know, Marl just told me that Maxine wants to go to Los Angeles and she did. Maxine is 15 years old, she's funny and talkative.

Then the bell rang.

"Let's go." Marl said then he puts his arm around my shoulder.

What took him so long?!

I'm sitting on the Cafeteria, alone. Marl said he needs to go to the bathroom and he'll be back in 5 minutes but now, he's 10 minutes late.

"Hi, can I sit with you?" I looked up and saw Caleb smiling down at me.

"Yeah, sure." I said then waited for minutes.

"Ella! Sorry we're late, we-" Piattos paused for a moment and looked at Caleb in awe, "Hi, pretty boy, what's your name?" She sat down beside him, closely. Then she puts her tray on the table followed with my other friends.

"I'm Caleb Breslin, I'm new here." Caleb said then he winked at Piattos.

"Where's Marl?" Kian asked while he puts his arm around Rachel's shoulder which Rachel shoved him away and Joe (who sits on the other side of Rachel), glared at Kian.

"Hell." I said without looking at them.

"Where's Gage?" I suddenly asked and Marl's still not here, "And Lacey?" They were missing on our table.

Chad opened his mouth to say something but he was cut off by Lacey who's running and shouting at us.

"EL! EL! ELLA!" Lacey shouted my name.

Why me? Something's wrong.

"What?" I asked confusedly.

"Marl and Gage are fighting! We need to stop them!" Lacey panicked. We hurriedly stood up and run towards the hallways. We saw Marl was throwing punches at Gage but then, Gage pushed him to the ground, choking Marl.

"STOP! STOP! STOP!" I ran towards them and kept pushing people on my way, since they attract students who formed a circle on them.

I looked at the both of them who's bleeding and no one stopped them when we didn't arrive, they kept cheering, fvcking morons.

"STOP! GUYS STOP!" My friends tried to pull them away but then the both of them pushed Raiden away which Raiden hits his back on the locker and also his head but luckily, his head was only hit lightly, but still it angers me.

I stood in front of the two of them angrily with arms crossed.

"IF BOTH OF YOU WON'T STOP THIS FIGHT, I WON'T TALK TO YOU FOR A CENTURY!" I yelled. The both of them stopped and looked at me with worried eyes.

"Please don't." Gage plead.

"Please, no, baby." Marl looked at me with puppy eyes.

Well, that was easy.

They walked towards me and start to apologize.

"Please forgive us." Gage pleaded.

"Okay, but in one condition," I paused for a moment to notice everyone was looking at me but I shrugged them off and continue saying, "You need to tell me about why are you two fighting." I said then Marl and Gage looked at each other, mostly glared.
