Chapter 6- This Kid Is Very Evil

(Ella's POV)
I came back to Marl's house after I feed Daisy. I walked into Marl's front door, I didn't have to knock, so I opened it and saw Mindy watching tv.

"Marl!" I shouted.

"I'm here at the kitchen!" He shouted back.

By the way, his bruises healed yesterday and now, only some dots or slight scratch was visible on his face.

"What are you doing?" I asked him when I stepped in the kitchen.

"Mindy ordered me to bake something." He frowned.

"What's wrong?" I asked him then put my hand on his shoulder. Then the next 6 words he said makes me laugh.

"I don't know how to bake." He pouted.

"Awe, I know how. Just help me bake the muffins." I told him and he nod at me.

After we baked, Mindy attacked the muffins and me and Marl only ate two, and we bake like 15 muffins.

Mindy watched a cartoon movie while we sat beside her.

"I'm bored." Mindy said.

"What do you want to do?" I asked her then she puts her point finger on her chin, like she was thinking.

"Let's play hide and seek!" She beamed with joy.

"Okay, so who will play first?" I asked her.

"Marl." She pointed at Marl.

"Uh, okay." Marl said then we stood up and Marl began to walk towards the nearest wall. He closed his eyes and started counting. I ran and hide inside the bathroom. I don't want to be seen first because Mindy said that if, for example, Marl seen me first, I'm going to have a dare, which I don't want to.

I turn around and saw Mindy on the bath tub, with the curtain almost covering her, she motioned me to be quiet but then, Marl outside the bathroom, in the hallways, saying 'come out, come out, wherever you are' and 'ooh, I got cookies! Come out now!' her eyes got a little wide then she smirked at me, I mean more like, evil smirk.

She got up from the bath tub, ran towards me, opened the door, and pushed me outside the bathroom. I almost fell, keyword: almost. It's because  Marl caught me by holding my waist and he smirked down at me.

"Ha-ha! You got caught!" Mindy shouted while pointing at me.

This kid is very evil.

"So, okay, what's the dare?" I asked when we sat on the couch. I was eating my strawberry cupcake, Mindy were eating her cookies, and Marl was trying to steal my cupcake.

"Knock on our neighbor and asked them if they want to buy a tampon." Marl smirked at me.

"No way!"

"Go! You have only 5 minutes to complete this dare!" Mindy said.

I picked 3 tampons and walked outside then to the next house. I knock three times then there's a boy, I think he's a freshman, stood there with a confused look on his face.

"Uh, do you, want to buy tampons?" I asked and gave him a forced smile.

I'm sure those two devils were laughing.

"Uh, no." He said then he slam the door close on my face! He didn't wait for me to say goodbye or something.

When I walked back to Marl's house, they were eating strawberry cupcakes. Then I remembered, if Marl has more strawberry cupcakes, then why would he steal mine?

"How was the trip?" Marl asked me then he wiggled his eyebrows.

"Shut up." I grumbled and made my way towards them. I sat on the couch with a strawberry cupcake on my hand.

"WHAT THE-" I shouted but cut off by Marl.

"-MUD! Don't say bad words in front of a kid." Marl scolded at me.

Like, what the! Mindy just pushed me on the mud!

"Mindy, apologize," Marl ordered her then Mindy mumbled something like 'sorry, muddy clumsy' Marl turned to look at me then said, "El, go take a shower in my bathroom and just change in my clean clothes."

"Okay," I said and walked inside but when I pass Mindy, I raise my middle finger at her and she poked her tongue at me.

After dinner, Marl told me to sleep in his bedroom while the evil kid will sleep on the extra room.

With Marl beside me, I drifted to sleep.

-But when I woke up, Marl wasn't there beside me and I looked at the mirror and saw drawings on my face...

With Mindy's signature on it.
