Prologue

Long ago there lived a woman and a man. At this time these two beings possessed powers thought to be equal to that of a god. Because of this they were worshipped as deities. The man's name was Eclipse. Eclipse was a very proud man. He had gotten his powers when he was just a boy. He didn't have much but then again when he was young nobody did. He had trained and became the most powerful man in the dimension of Nightshade. He then met Luna. Luna was born with her powers. Her mother was also born with powers so she was trained from birth. Eclipse married Luna and they lived 300 years happily before Eclipse discovered something. He had no legacy. Though he would live long he wouldn't live forever. That night he told his wife of his wishes and 9 months later they had 12 children. Eclipse got quite a shock when he found out that all twelve of them were born with powers similar to his and his wife's.

The four youngest began with Vaton. Vaton was born with the power to shape-shift into any animal he could imagine. The 2nd youngest was Concussion. Concussion could emit shock waves from any and every part of his body. After him was Psyche(Sike). Psyche was born with the power to read minds and do mental attacks. The last of the four was Aqua. As her name says she was able to control all liquids, even the water in the air.

The four middle children began with Vixon. Vixon was born with the power to emit poison from her body. Then came Auborn with the power to control earth. After her is Gale. Gale can control the wind. The oldest of the four was Chronos. Chronos was born with power to control time itself.

Now comes the oldest four of the twelve. They're not only the oldest but also the most powerful. The youngest of the four was Natsu. Natsu can control fire and produce it from thin air. After him is Laxus. Laxus is able to control lightning. The last two children are very special. They're twins born with opposite powers. The twins were called Avalon and Absalon. Avalon has light powers and Absalon has Darkness.

These twelve children possessed extraordinary powers. Nobody understood the depth of their power except their teachers. Not even they could pinpoint the limit in power. Although they had their personalized powers, all twelve of them had telekinesis. This is not what makes the twelve so powerful though. They were all taught by dragons. They eventually surpassed their masters and absorbed them. This giving them all the soul animal of a dragon. The people of their time began to call them "The Twelve Dragons of Nightshade".

One day Avalon and Absalon had a big argument. Absalon believed that his siblings and hisself should be worshipped as gods like their father. Considering that they were demigods he thought his thinking was very logical. Avalon believed that they should keep their powers hidden and blend in with the mortals. They began a war with each other making their siblings choose between them. Natsu, Laxus, Gale, Aqua, and Psyche sided with Avalon, while Chronos, Auborn, Vixon, Concussion, and Vaton sided with Absalon.

From that moment on they called themselves circles. Absalon's circle was known as the Black Dragons. Avalon's circle was called the Phoenix Feathers. Avalon and Absalon died at war with each other. Before they died they had children who continued the war several years after. For Centuries the war continued until finally one generation was skipped over and the twelve children did not get powers from their ancestors. Without their powers they talked it over and made peace. This peace has lasted for 60 years until now......
