Aria was terrified. What if she was pregnant? She sat on the gravel road, paralyzed and sobbing, like when she was in the bathroom last year and she thought she had seen A. By the time Spencer and Emily got to her, they knew she needed Ezra. They sat down next to her and hugged her tight, telling her everything would be okay. Hanna and Ezra finally arrived, and the three girls stepped out of the way so that Ezra could go to Aria. He picked her up off the ground and wrapped her up in his arms, with Aria still crying. Shaking, she buried her head in his chest, afraid of what was to come between them if Jake tried anything with the police. Aria and Ezra got into the back of Hanna's car while Spencer and Emily got back in their car. They all drove back to Ezra's apartment and he invited them to stay the night to keep an eye on Aria. They agreed to stay and they all went upstairs, Aria still clinging to Ezra. None of them knew what Jake had said to her, but they knew not to ask until she calmed down. Ezra unlocked his door and they all went inside. Ezra took off Aria's shoes and put her into pajamas. He laid her down in their bed and wrapped the blankets around her, telling her he'd be there in just a minute.
