As they arrived at the hospital, Aria's mind was a complete blur. Ezra jumped out of the car and rushed inside to find a doctor. While he was in there, Jake appeared at Aria's window. It was closed, but Ezra's wasn't. She quickly leaned over into his seat, even though she felt like just that movement could rip her stomach apart, and rolled up the automatic window. She made sure all the doors were locked, but Jake began hitting the window, in an attempt to break it. At that point Ezra was running out of the hospital with a team of doctors who saw Jake trying to break into the car. Two security guards peeled him away so that the medical team could get to Aria. They put her on a stretcher and wheeled her inside. They got her into a room with an ultrasound, so they could see if their baby was still alive. Aria's heart was beating fast, and she felt the cold jelly stuff they put on your stomach for an ultrasound, but she couldn't remember the name of it. Aria grabbed Ezra's hands and held then tight as the doctor started to search for a baby. Aria couldn't hear anything. If there was a baby in there, wouldn't she hear a heartbeat? Why wasn't the doctor saying anything?
