He was walking into the restaurant, and was headed straight toward Aria. Ella and Byron didn't know what Jake had done to Aria so they weren't fazed. As Jake got closer to her, Ezra stepped in the way and told him to leave. Jake responded, "Do you know what this pedophile has done to your daughter? She's pregnant with his baby, a bastard baby." He said this directly to Ella and Byron. At this point, Byron had gotten up from where he was sitting and was walking over to Jake. Jake was still rambling on about the baby, and Byron came up to him and punched him straight in the mouth. Jake recoiled, shocked at what just happened.
"If you ever, and I mean ever, try to ruin anything in my daughter's life that makes her happy, I will end you. Do you understand me? If I even see you around her or talking to her, you don't want to know what will happen." Aria was shocked. Did her dad really just stick up for her and Ezra? Jake walked out of the restaurant and everyone enjoyed the rest of the night together, talking about baby names, things to buy, and how excited they all were. Then, Byron and Ezra went to the bathroom. When they were washing their hands, Ezra said, "Thanks. For what you did with Jake."
"It wasn't for you, it was for Aria." Byron responded.
"I know, but I'm sure it meant a lot to her." They continued talking, then walked out to the table. Everyone was finished eating, so they paid and then left. Aria and Ezra were driving back to their apartment when he stopped at a little bar, pub- I mean, where Aria and Ezra first met.
"What are we doing here?" Aria asked.
"I have a surprise, just come inside."
