Soulmates: An Ezria Fanfic

Chapter 32

"Actually, we were thinking of just going out to dinner tonight instead," Spencer replied.

"I'm up for anything without lots of walking, do you guys know how heavy this thing is?" Aria said, smiling and pointing to her huge belly.

"Your stomach is almost as big as you are, like I bet we could fit you in it if we tried," Hanna said.

The others gave her questioning glances but didn't say anything. At around 5pm, they all left to go to a surprise restaurant. When they arrived, it was to a place Aria had never seen before.

"What's this place?" Aria asked.
"Shh. No questions. Just c'mon." Spencer teased.
They walked into the restaurant and when they walked in, Aria was stunned.
"SURPRISE!!" Everyone screamed as the four walked in.
"It's a baby shower!" Hanna exclaimed.
Everyone she knew was there. Holden, her parents, Mike, all her friends for school, and best of all, Ezra.
"You knew about this?" Aria asked.
"Of course, didn't I tell you about the wild party I had planned?" Ezra joked.
Aria laughed and started thanking everyone for coming. She looked around the room at the beautiful decor. She figured it was mostly done by Hanna, while the planning and inviting was mostly Emily and Spencer. It looked like the color pink had thrown up everywhere, but like in a good way.

After a while, it was time to open gifts. She got almost everything she need for a newborn. A stroller from her parents, a car seat from Mike, an excessive amount of clothes from Hanna, a top-of-the-line high chair and bouncy swing from Spencer and the Hastings family, diapers, a changing table, toys, and anything else you could think of. One thing they still needed: a crib. There was one last present. From Ezra. He looked at her and said,"I know you think I shouldn't have gotten you anything because we're in this together, but I just wanted to surprise you with something."
She smiled and opened the huge gift. Inside was a beautiful crib, one that she once saw at an antique shop.
"After I bought it I took it to a place to have it fixed up and made safe for new babies. Perfectly safe, clean, and with new bedding for our princess." Ezra told her.
Everyone there awed, and Aria seemed like she was about to cry.
"These damn hormones!" She said as she half laughed half cried. After the shower, Ezra took everything back to their house while Aria slept over Spencer's.
