After letting Fidget settle in for a bit, Morgan slide on his brand new collar with his name tag. She grabbed his leash and together they both walked out of her cabin for a nice evening walk. Fidget did his business, going to potty in the grass as if he was already potty trained. Morgan was having fun too, watching her new best friend play in the grass and find presents. She hoped that there would be people out so she could let him socialize before they went back home. Taking a turn to make their walk further, they finally ran into someone with a german shepherd. Fidget wagged his tail, got into the play bow stance and barked happily as the two played together on leash. Saying goodbye to each other they made their way home running into another person out late at night with a white french bulldog. Morgan chatted with the owner as Fidget and the frenchie played together. They both were having so much fun. Morgan was loving this town more and more by the second. She decided when she got home and her little pup went to bed that she would search for an apartment or condo for sale that allowed dogs. Morgan said goodbye to the frenchie's owner and picked up her tired boy and they returned back to the cabin.
Giving Fidget a nice bowl of water and brought out his brand new dog bed, she curled up on the couch with her laptop searching for a place to live in this quaint town. After two hours of searching she finally got a call back saying they have one condo ready to move in. Morgan made the courageous decision to go sign the papers while her little man was sleeping. Once she returned home she went up to her bedroom and fell asleep. The next morning she packed up her suite case and made sure she left the cabin as it was when she arrived. She loaded her car up with everything she brought and bought while here for 2 weeks. Morgan set up Fidgets new bed in the passenger seat of her car but before leaving to their new house she decided to take him to a local dog park within walking distance from her condo.
When they reached the park she was surprised to see a little blonde and white sheltie puppy there this early in the morning. It was 7:30am and the sun was barely rising in the sky. Morgan unhooked Fidget's leash and he ran off to make a new friend. While watching them play she made her way to the bench to chit chat with the sheltie's owner. They were laughing and giggling at them fighting over a tennis ball they had found. Both wanting the yellow ball and then taking it from each other. Fidget and Emma were being so silly that their owners couldn't even continue their conversation before they both had to leave the park and get on with their day.
After making sure that Fidget did his business Morgan opened up the passenger seat and placed him into his bed. She closed the door and then walked over to the drivers side getting into the car. Sighing, she looked over and gave him a pat on the head, hoping that she was making the right decision on the path of her new life. Morgan slid the keys into the ignition of her car and drove off a couple blocks down the road to the new condo. It didn't matter that she was moving from her house 10 hours away from where she was vacationing. She didn't have any friends, her family had all moved to different states. The home she lived in was lonely, empty and no one to talk to. Surely she could have brought Fidget home there but she made some lovely friends here and he was happy seeing all his shelter friends on his walks. Morgan made the right decision deep down in her heart she knew it, she carried him into their new condo. The nice lady decorated it for her so she wouldn't have to worry about doing any of that. It was pink and girly but she didn't care much. They were both ready to start their new lives happily together and to share their love.
