Life with a puppy is joyful and hard at times. He is constantly wanting to go out to go to the bathroom, eat, drink, play, and just run around crazy. He brightens up her day when it's been crappy, she wouldn't change it for the world. Morgan was relaxing on her love seat as her little boy took a nap by the heater. Next thing she knows is he is whining at the door wanting out to go use the restroom. Getting on her shoes, hooking his leash up to his collar and grabbing some poop bags they headed out the door. She decided she would take a late night hike with him to see how he does in the mountain trail. They walked for a few minutes and ran into a nice lady with her husky puppy named Solider. Solider seemed to be a bit scared of Fidget, he is quite a large puppy even though they are around the same age.
After spending some time with Solider and getting to know his owner for a bit. Morgan and Fidget continued their walk. Morgan made note that their is a dog park that offers Junior - Amateur classes in frisbee for the local competitions. It said for advance classes for the Pro - Cup classes are practiced at the Seaside Park. They walked up to the top of the trail and then turned around to head back down. Morgan noticed that there is a fork in the trail. Going right leads her to the bottom of the bottom closer to home as the left leads her down a trial to the beach where the other park is located. Looking down at Fidget, she noticed he didn't seem tired so they decided to take an adventure. Hearing the crickets making noise as the crisp cool air whisked by them they finally got a whiff of the salty ocean breeze and knew they were close. Crashing waves began to fill Morgan's ears and they finally reached the seaside! It was filled with many shops, people walking about and a park way down the road.
Fidget got to meet a nice german shepherd puppy and a nice shih tzu named Prince. He was so happy getting to spend time with other puppies. Morgan knew eventually she would get another puppy and a kitten but first wanted to continue to bond with Fidget. It's only been a week since she's had him. Time has passed by so quickly with him, it felt like it was just yesterday she picked him up from his shelter playpen and adopted him. The day their lives changed for good, but it had already been a week and he was intelligent and amazing. They finished their walk for the night and returned home.
Taking off her shoes and unhooking him the energetic puppy ran to the middle of the room where he left his little chewie bone. He was ferociously gnawing and pouncing his bone. After playing with his bone for a couple of minutes, Morgan called out to Fidget and he came running over to her. It was time to practice his tricks that she has taught him. She asked him to "plop" which meant to sit down, she asked him to give her "one" which meant his left paw, then "two" which was the other paw. After practicing those three tricks and rewarding him with a treat, she asked him to "rest" which was to lay down, "fall" to play dead, "soar" to sit pretty, "wave" to sit up pretty and wave both feet. Fidget is an amazingly smart dog. After an hour of practicing tricks together and many treats Morgan decided to call it a night and they both went off to bed.
