"Lyra? Where is she? The tardis said she was in here." He spoke to himself. I was as I slowly moved around the branch. He kept walking closer and closer to the center of my forest and i was nearing the end of my branch. It was even starting to bend. Using that I slip quietly off the branch and behind the doctor. He turned around quickly and I hissed loudly at him. "Nice kitty." He said unsure of what to do. It was amusing to the see the only time lord scared of a cat. I licked my lips and looked around. I suddenly dropped the predator act and approached him purring. I laughed. "I'm only passing time doctor, chill." I told him. But he was still worried. "No, I think it's more than that." He said then kneeled down to me and attached somthing to my neck. "When ever you turn into a animal, your time lord DNA is mixed with that animal. Meaning your gonna be used to doing whatever is natural to that species." He said turning whatever was around my neck on, it beeped. "This, " he said started pointing to the device. "Is a device that has a copy of your original DNA, so it turns you back to normal at will. It also has a copy of all your animal forms, so you change back and forth whenever you want." He explained. I then used it to be a time lord again. Once back on two legs the doctor pulled me into a near death grip. "I know you gonna be fine, by that still doesn't mean I won't worry. We're the only two left." He said seriously. He sounder broken, it was only then I realized that I worried him the entire time. I then felt guilty, the doctor sensed it. "Hey, " he said lifting up my face by my chin. "It's alright, down worry. You were having fun, I can't stop you from doing that." He said pulling me back into the hug once more. We stood there for some time, just enjoying each other's company. Afterwards, we went to find jack asleep in his new room. His old one was deleted by some "house" entity as the doctor told me. I decided to sleep as well, not needing it but told him I fell into earth sleeping habits.
