When I was still in the orphanage, there was some kind of a legend.
It's called the clap game.
The rule is, you have to turn off the light, then sing the song. While chanting the spell, you have to clap your hands. After that, hide somewhere nearby. By count of 5, if you haven't find someplace to hide and you haven't close your eyes.
You'll have to die.
We played that game every halloween.
We always won! No one ever dare to lose this game. Then, some years later. I was adopted.
My adoptive parents are rich. So, they have a really huge house. I had so many hiding places in here!
Although, I lived with everything here. I still miss the warmth and laughter of my friends in the orphanage. My adoptive parents were on a work abroad. So, to kill the boredom and to remember my friends I decided to do our usual, the clap game.
So, I turned out the lever in the basement to turn off all the connected wires for the electricity throughout the house. With my flashlight, I was chanting the spell, and clapped my hands.
One and one
Turn off the lights
Two and two
Play at the night
Three and three
Sing the song
Four and four
She will come
Five and five
Come to take
Six and six
Take and gone
Seven and seven
Go and hide
Eight and eight
And save your live
Nine and nine
Now, close your eyes
Ten and ten
She's here to play
I have to find somewhere to hide!
I tried to shape out the things, and found a door opened.
I went inside and locked it.
Now, I just have to wait for 1 minute and turn the lights back on.
And, the game is finished.
" Wait, young lad. You forgot to close your eyes. " A calm yet horrifying voice greeted me, as her frigid hand closed my eyes and gouge it out.
