Pizza Delivery

I've been working as a pizza delivery guy for 3 months now. I got night shift today for no reason. My manager, Miranda, told me to deliver a pizza to an apartment building. The room is 1313.

" So cold. " I frowned as I grabbed the coat from the coat rack.

I turned the ignition on and walked to the apartment building. As I arrived there, I saw that the apartment seemed abandoned.

I thought of leaving until I saw a woman walked in the apartment. It seems like she is one of the tenant.

I clicked floor 13 button, and walked inside. Why did I agree to take the order? Chilling atmosphere, creepy looking building + deserted. So not good.

I searched for the room, until I saw a room, that's different from the others. There were garbages outside, stacked. The tenant seemed not to care about their hygiene.

" Hello! Pizza delivery here! " I knocked on the door.

For a short while, there were no sound. Until, I heard a voice beckoning for me from inside and the door creaked open.

" Come in. And put the pizza on the floor " A faint voice could he heard.

I saw some money on the floor and took it, I put the pizza on the floor and closed the door.

" Thank you for ordering our pizza! " I shouted, and no asnwer.

I sighed, and walked back to my motorcycle, and went back to the restaurant.

" I'm back! " I talked to my friends.

" How'd it go? " Miranda, one of my co-worker asked.

" The building is crappy but It's fine. Here's the money. "

" Huh? " I looked at her, dumbfouded. " We used to send the new guy to that room as a courage test kind of thing. " She shrugged.

Suddenly, I remembered the voice that I heard and when I walked inside the room. I shudder.

The next morning, there's a news that there was a body found in the room where I deliver the pizza. And, the police found a box of pizza that's already empty.
