Have you ever had a sleep paralysis? If you had, feel free to tell me in the comment!

For you who doesn't know,
Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which an individual, either during falling asleep or awakening, temporarily experiences an inability to move, speak, or react. ( Source: Wikipedia )

Sometime during the occurence, you might have hallucinations to which one is unable to react due to paralysis. These hallucinations often involve a person or supernatural creature suffocating the individual, accompanied by a feeling of pressure on the chest and difficulty breathing. Or you felt like someone is staring at you.

Okay, so this is one of my true story. My first experience of sleep paralysis. I was sleeping in my room with my sister. But, it was past midnight and we were still wide awake.

On the evening, I watched Insidious 3 with my sister. We were a bit scared cause we set the volume to the max, and the lights were off.

After we watch it, I still felt a bit scared to be honest. Like, it's stuck in my mind so I kept thinking about it.

Like at midnight, I read comic. Horror comic, to be exact. The author told that she had a sleep paralysis once and she explained about her experience and all about it.

So, The feeling of horror was doubled. And, I suddenly remembered about insidious and the sleep paralysis thing at the same time.

You know, I believed that If you thought about something too often before bed, you might possibly got the chance of dreaming the same thing.

So, I slept. And, In my dream, I was sleeping and facing to te side. I can't move my body even an inch, I tried to move my hand but It won't budge.

My body felt heavy like something was holding me from moving. I couldn't open my eyes ( Lucky me, or else I'll be scared to death if I actually can see what's on top of me ).

I struggled a bit by trying to move my hand and finally I woke up abruptly. My sister was calling me and she pat my shoulder. I was sweating like crazy.

" What's happening? " She asked. " You were sleep talking. "

" I got sleep paralysis. " I said.

And, I was too scared to continue my sleep so I stayed up late til 2 in the morning. I convinced myself that It's okay and went back to sleep.

It was like maybe the scariest sleep paralysis experience I ever had. Lol, I was exaggerating. But, It is true.
