I was rummaging my purse for keys. I found it and immediately locked the door. I went into the kitchen to prepare for snack. Suddenly, I heard noises coming from the hallways. It was faint but I swear I could hear someone's footsteps. I shrugged it off and went to put the leftover pizza inside the oven. Another sound was heard, yet this time it felt like a loud banging. I was terrified. So, I tiptoed myself to check what's happening. I saw the front door and locked it. Phew! Glad that I couldn't hear the noises again!
