Abhishek's POV:

I could not sleep, not because of the uncomfortable couch. I felt like some one is holding my heart tight when I saw Prakruthi in her ex's hands previous night. I couldn't erase the sight of them together. Does she like her husband even after divorce? Is that the reason to stay single? No, that can't be because I didn't see love in her eyes when she was with him. There was fear for sure. But the way she spoke to me was not her nature yet I felt defeated.

When I was still thinking as to how to bring the secret out of her mouth I hear her screams. I rush to her, still closing her eyes she kept shaking while mumbling something in sleep. I shook her to bring out of the nightmare.

Abhi, he he he can't marry her, stammered. She is having tight grip on my arm. Who can't marry whom Prakruthi? I ask. She is too innocent, he he he should not marry her I won't let that happen. She kept repeating the same as if in a trance.

Calm down, who is he?
Madhu my ex, he can't marry her.

I finally heard the words I was longing for. She saw my wide and mischievous grin and her eyes went wide in realization.

Prakruthi's POV:

O my god what have I done? Before I could recover fully a pair of soft lips crashed on my own. My first kiss from the love of my life. My worries went out of the window. So this is how a kiss feels like sparks flying everywhere and a delicious shiver running down my spine. seriously I don't know how to respond but totally relaxed now. I snaked my hands around his neck, as his hands draped around my waist pulling towards him.

We pulled apart to take a breath. I must be blushing very badly hopefully he can't see my face since there is minimum light in the room.
