Accident or ....???

Prakruthi's POV:

After 2 months

This land dispute has slowed down our work progress. There are some legal issues regarding land that we are about to construct. Abhishek has become a significant member of out team. He is versatile, he is working on his architecture domain at the same time giving us valuable advices on every other aspect of the venture. He is the best at his work. He is changing my opinion on him. Initially I assumed him to be flirtatious, handsome rich guy who  is not potential at his work. But he proved me wrong.

My parents are back and brother is keeping good now. Those few days with Abhishek  made me realize so many things. Never once in my entire life I felt the way I felt in his presence. Though in a way he was a stranger, I felt safe and secured around him. The way he took care of me when I was vulnerable is heart touching but I must keep my walls too strong to even touch.

After that night neither of us spoke about my nightmare. I know he is trying to be gentle man without voicing his curiosity at least not directly. Hope he did not discuss it with my dad. I believe so since there is no discussion on it from neither of them. I did not want to fuel their doubts so I better keep quiet as if nothing happened.

I was still in my own world of jumbled thoughts with a pen in between fingers playing absent minded and staring at my now locked  screen of Mac. My phone buzzed after answering it I started in my own car to the sight to discuss on few things with concern people. After reaching the location after half an hour, I parked my car outside in front of the gates and stepped out. Since it's a high way road, located in the outskirts of the city it is secluded. Since I did not want to go inside alone i have decided to wait for Abhishek.

After about 10 minutes his car pulled at the opposite side of the road under a tree and he came out with his shades looking handsome as ever. Stop right there don't let your thoughts go any further I scolded myself.

Abhishek's POV:

Something urgent came up otherwise I might have reached on time. After that night my feelings for Prakruthi became clear and strong . No matter what ever her past might me I love her. I want to make her feel the same for me. I know she locked up her heart and threw the key deep in to the dark sea.

Once Mr.Rao came back from London I explained him about Prakruthi's nightmare and all that she spoke. He was shocked and was in full rage to kill those who are responsible for her condition. Then we hired a private detective to investigate. We did not talk about it to Prakruthi because we don't want to give her any more trauma. No matter how much ever we are trying we couldn't find out their dirty secret. Prakruthi's Ex in laws have a very strong political back ground. Since they are powerful and highly influential it has become highly impossible to dig in for information.

We are sure about one thing that they are still keeping tabs on her. She is too good for her own good. I never saw any one like her. Though she is totally shattered from inside she kept everyone in dark for the sole reason to protect her family.

If possible, at this very moment I wish to pour all my love and give her all the happiness I could from this university. She deserves so much.

In spite of all that she is going through, she still manages to knock my breath away when ever I see at her. I reached the location Prakruthi is casually leaning on her car back hood I guess waiting for me. Wow that thought itself is so good. She is wearing a light pink button up loose shirt with a ankle length white skirt.

Once after parking my car on the opposite road under the shade of a tree I saw her looking at me and walking towards me. As I removed my shades to wish her while crossing the distance, I saw a big lorry coming behind her with full speed it just took me a second to realize that the driver is aware of his speed and doing it intentionally while look at Prakruthi's back.

In a flash I sprang in to action, covering her petite body with my own and threw both of us on to the floor. We rolled on the brown dirt road and landed  in to near by bushes. A loud bang with screeching sounds lasted for a while.

I was lying down and Prakruthi on top of me we are a tangled mess. On any other occasion I might have enjoyed but now all I felt was anger. Slowly she lifted her head, her big eyes were searching for answers as to what happened slowly realization crept in to those beautiful eyes. I moved a strand of hair behind her ear. Prakruthi it's over don't worry I am with you.

Some how we both managed to untangle ourselves from those thorns with minor scratches here and there. Drops of blood cover her face, hands lucky she is fully clothed. I heard a gasp from Prakruthi her eyes were wide open and fixed in to distance, l followed her sight.

What I saw has confused me. My car has landed 50 yards away from its original location and it is totally damaged. It's a very bad sight.

Without my knowledge I took her in to my arms possessively and kissed on the crown of her head. I will not let any harm come near you its my promise. She is still in shock.

By the look of the incident it does not look like an accident but before coming to any conclusion we must investigate it.
