"Oh!" I gasped as I watch what played before my eyes. One of the live-action videos was showing me people making emergency calls in a dark room; another part was showing me agents retreiving their weapons; the other showed me agents running in a corridor towards somewhere; and then the two of the very last parts were showing me familiar people fighting over someone. Opponents. And some of the opponents I recognised.
They were all running and rushing with their special guns in their hands. Everette Ross looked panicked and so as some others, who knew how one of the in-possessed man was valuable and needed to the government. I began to wonder if this was all because of the Sokovia Accords. This whole thing must be, isn't it?
I was watching people running around the building - and two of them were Steve and Sam running as fast as they could as if they wanted to be at some places before anyone could - when I saw Dad sneaking behind a wall, looking over his shoulder as if to measure the distance before he leapt to attack. While getting ready, he pushed some buttons of his watch and magically, his watch turned into his Iron Man metal glove. Bucky Barnes, the man Steve and T'Challa were running after, was fighting Sharon at the time when Dad aimed the iron armour right at Bucky and shot its beam at him, causing the man to jerk, turn and walk up to Dad like an angry gorilla. My dad was brave enough not to run away when Bucky caught him.
They battled into a big combatant fight that it was hard for me to watch - especially when my own father having a battle with a person, not even my myself, but him hardly knew. They were slightly throwing punches at each other and Bucky merely slapping Dad's hands away, didn't want Dad to shoot another beam at him. There were no sounds, but even if they do, I'd mute it. But what made my heart dropped was when Bucky pulled the trigger of the gun inside his hand and the gun shot Dad's palm.
I let out a gasp.
I waited for blood running down Dad's hand or bursting on Dad's face, but nothing came. I waited to see Dad's hand exploded and was left with meat dangling from the wrist, but I forgot that Dad's was wearing the iron glove. That moment a relief sigh escaped my mouth.
Dad's face was panicked as well, but a little triumphant smirk played on his lips when he realised the gunshot didn't do anything to his hand with the iron glove. Swiftly, Dad then dissembled the gun; however, that trick only caused Dad to be thrown away to the wall. I heard an imaginary sickening crack made me shut my eyes, turned my face away before I reopened my eyes again and maintaining my breathing. My eyes were watering and I didn't hold them back. I let them rolled on my cheeks as I got up from Dad's seat.
Whatever happened next, I ignored them. I was sobbing by now. I headed towards the door, tempted to get out and meet my dad wherever he was, but the door wouldn't budge when I tried to push and pull them. Both of the doors were being still when I pushed or pulled; and at the very panic moment, I heard someone said, "You're not allowed to go anywhere, Miss Stark."
It was Friday's voice.
I turned on my heels, looking at something randomly as if Friday was a solid mass that I could see. I didn't realise I was standing on both of my feet - as if one of them weren't broken - as I frowned in annoyance and replied, "You're here!"
"Yes, Miss Stark," Friday said. "Only for emergency. Mr Stark didn't want you to go out as it is dangerous out there at the moment."
I scoffed. "You must be kidding me! Dad's got beaten up by the metal-armed man! I've got to go!"
"This is my last word and I won't say it again, Miss Stark. Mr Stark wants you to stay put in the room until he comes in."
"Let me out, Friday," I said sternly, ignoring her warning. "Unlock the door and let me out."
