I awoke the next day, feeling great. I did my usual morning routine; combing my hair, brushing my teeth, and getting dressed.

I decided to wear black leggings with a black cropped top. It wasn't something I'd usually wear, but I felt in the mood.

I went downstairs where I proceeded to put my shoes on to leave. I still hadn't had breakfast, so I was going to Tim Hortons before school starts.

I said bye to my parents, my sister, and my pets, then started walking to Tim Hortons.

When I arrived there, I got in line and scanned the glass cases full of desserts, and looked at the screen menus for breakfast.

"Hello, how may I help you?" I heard.

"Hey, can I get the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin, and a small iced cappuccino with milk."

"Yes, that'll be $5.65."

"Thank you."

I had just received my food and was about to walk out, when someone tapped my shoulder.

I turned around and was greeted by a grinning Hunter. I smiled at him.

"Funny seeing you here." He stated.

"What's so funny about that?"

"Nothing, just watching you almost drop your ice cap wasn't funny at all."

I rolled my eyes and gave a small laugh. "What did you get?"

"A pretzel bagel and hot chocolate."

"Haha nice. Let's start heading to school."

Just as we had started walking, I got another tap on the shoulder.

I turned to see Hayes. He was so tall he literally towered over me. "Heyy." I said.

"Yo, who's he?" He questioned pointing at Hunter.

Hunter waved and said, "I'm Hunter. I just moved here a few days ago."

"He's in our class." I said.

"Ah you seem cool. I'm Hayes, and you'll meet Mario at school."

"Who's Mario?"'

"Oh it's just our other friend."

"Ah okay."

We all walked to school, talking up a storm. Hunter and Hayes instantly became good friends, which made me really happy, especially the fact that Hunter fit in so perfectly.

He is perfect.

I don't know where I was letting my mind wander when I thought about Hunter. Before I could think about him any more, Michaela, Brianna, and Mario came up to us.

"HOLA COMO ESTAS!!" Michaela shouted.

"Since when do you know Spanish?" I questioned.

"That's the only thing I know how to say, besides hola." She stated, laughing.

"Mario this is the new bro, Hunter. He just moved here." Hayes said.

"Welcome! Can't wait to get to know you better." Mario said, smiling at Hunter.

"Mario this is the new bro." I mimicked Hayes's deep voice. He laughed and punched me playfully in the arm.

Hunter and everyone in our group were practically best friends after talking for only ten minutes. We all got along, and had so much in common.

For instance, Hunter, Hayes, Mario, Michaela and I, all loved listening to rap. Brianna liked boy bands, which we all admitted to listening to occasionally.
