It was the next morning after Hunter had come over and we had our little heart to heart. It felt good to get everything out, especially to someone like him.
I pulled on some baby blue ripped jeans and a white shirt with black writing on the pocket that said, "I like you today."
My hair was in a messy bun, and I was wearing my black converse.
I grabbed my lunch, and headed for the school bus, same old routine. When I got outside, I saw Michaela and Hayes waving at me from inside the bus.
I waved to them, and made my way into it. "Hey Julia!" I heard Vanessa say.
"Hey Vanessa, how's your day going?"
"Not bad for a start, how about yours?"
"Really great." I smiled, and headed to the back of the bus.
Brianna was seated beside Hayes, and Mario beside Michaela. No Hunter yet.
"How was your little play date with Hunter?" Michaela asked winking.
"Shut up it wasn't a play date, he just came over to hang out."
"Did you kiss him?" I heard Brianna ask.
"Um no, like I said, it was just to hang out."
"But we all know you like him." Hayes and Mario said in unison.
I gave a 'what can you do?' shrug and made my way to an empty seat in front of Hayes and Brianna.
We talked for a while, when we heard the bus doors open and Hunter step in. He was wearing grey sweatpants and a black tee.
He smiled at me, and came to sit beside me. "Hey Jules."
"Hola Hunter."
"Spanish? That's new." Hunter stated while giving a small laugh.
"Excuse me Julia I'm the Spanish one." I heard Mario call from the back.
"Shut up you toad." I called to him. Everyone laughed.
Hunter leaned in close to me and whispered in my ear. "Just remember I'm always here for you."
I smiled and whispered back, "so am I."
"Now now don't get all secretive on us." Brianna hollered from the back.
I gave her the finger, and continued to converse with Hunter.
"Yo everyone." I heard Hayes say a few minutes later.
We all whipped our heads around to see what he wanted.
"I have an idea, how about tonight we have a huge sleepover? My place."
"THAT SOUNDS SO FUN!" Brianna exclaimed.
"I'm down." Mario and Michaela said simultaneously.
"Yesss." I said.
"Can't wait." Hunter added.
Hayes gave a nod. "Okay everyone meet me at my place after school around 5:00. We'll talk more about it on the bus ride back."
Everyone said okay as we pulled up to the front of our large school.
We got off the bus, and headed our separate ways to class. Hunter, Michaela, Brianna and I were all in the same class, meanwhile Mario and Hayes were in another.
Our classes passed by quickly before lunch. We had language, history, and some math.
When it came to lunch, we all had bought pizza and sat at a bench outside.
