His eyes were stars
And his smile held the universe.
His kisses were honey-coated roses
And his touch felt like my favorite song played on repeat.
He was the butterflies in my stomach
That fluttered when I thought of him.
He was the sun
Making others smile with his light.
And I? I was the moon.
I drained the sun of his light because I couldn't find my own.
