That night I left Jack continues to haunt me to this day. Although it seems nothing more than a dream now. Not being able to see his face during school killed me. A big part of me was missing, and sadly I grew used to it. I graduated and got into college. Anna did the same, and we conveniently got into the same one. She and Kristoff have stayed together, and are happier than ever. I envy that, their closeness and love. Anyways, a lot happened over the years. When we graduated, we moved into the city and got an apartment. Anna is going to be moving in with Kristoff soon though, which will leave me my own big apartment! But I have to pay full rent now... Yay. Today is just like another day. I have work, and luckily no classes. I work at the local cafe, which is just down the street.
"ELSA," screamed Anna from the kitchen.
"WHAT," I called finishing up my hair.
Anna didn't reply as I finished putting on my shoes and grabbing my purse. Annoyed, I head out into the kitchen to find Anna scurrying to find something.
"ELSA! OH MY GOSH I CANT FIND MY BRACELET! YOU HAVE GOT TO HELP ME," she yelled grabbing my shoulders and shaking me with wild eyes.
"Okay okay! Calm down," I said laughing as I started to search. She looked in the kitchen while I went into the bathroom and found it in the counter. Sighing, I picked it up and yelled, "found it!"
I heard fast footsteps, and a bang as she hit the door open and took it from me.
"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ELSA OH MY GOSH YOURE MY LIFE SAVER HOW COULD I EVE-" she babbled while I interrupted. "You're welcome Anna, but I really have to goooo," I said urging past her to the front door.
Before I left, she hollored to me, "HAVE A GOOD DAY! LOVE YA!"
"LOVE YOU TOO," and with that, I left.
I went down to the lobby to wait for my friend Devon. We met at college and he was looking for an apartment, and decided to move into my same building. Now we work at the cafe and walk together everyday.
"Hey girl!" Came Devon's voice from the opening elevator. I turned with a greeting smile. "Hey Devon."
"Oooooo you're lookin cute today! I love those shoes!" He exclaimed as he walked up to me.
"Not as cute as yours though, you're looking snazzy! You'll have every eye on you when we walk down the street," I pestered and we both laughed as we left.
"So I have some news for you little girl. Yesterday after work, I went to check out for the night, and I saw-," Devon started before something caught his attention. Confused I looked in his direction but couldn't see anything.
"Devon? What is it?" I asked as his jaw clung to the floor.
"Holy flying pigs everywhere, do you see that hottie over there?" He asked pointing to a restaurant with an outdoor eating area. Still not seeing anyone, I asked again where he meant.
"Right there towards the corner! He's so hot! Do I look good? No never mind I know I do. Oh my gosh I hope he asks for my number," he babbles. I start to giggle, but I look back toward the direction the guy was, and I saw him. My gut dropped and I stopped mid-step. He didn't see me, I only saw him. He was sipping his drink looking at his phone. He still had that same beautiful completion, and the same sparkling white hair that leaves you starstruck. Gorgeous and totally hypnotizing. My stomach continued to twist and I was getting nauseous. I snapped out of it when people started to bump into me, and Devon was snapping his fingers in my face.
