The Talk

Chapter 7
RUBY'S POV

Jade and I wake up to Shannon, Bryan and Jeydon, talking to Johnnie about his mate. "Why do you think they're upset?" Jade asked, getting up and dressed.

"I don't know, but I want to find out. Maybe he doesn't have a mate?" I say, just pulling in ideas, also getting up.

"Everyone has a mate Ruby. You know that. I already love mine." Jade says, smiling like an idiot.

"I love mine too. Let's just go see what they're talking about."

- time skip -

"What! That's terrible Johnnie!" I said, maybe a little too loud.

"What are you gonna do? I mean, this is nuts!" Jade says, not making eye contact.

"We don't know.....I don't know." Johnnie says, in a whisper.

SAMM'S POV

This is crazy. We all had the same dream, but with different vampires and situations. Whoever mine was, he was sweet and adorable. I feel bad for Kyle though. Even if we aren't together anymore, I still know a lot about him and his past with vampires is bad. This may or may not be just a dream, but if not, he needs to be ready for what happens. I look over at him. He's looking at the floor, dazed. I need to talk to him, I mean, I still care about him. "Kyle, um... can I talk to you in private for a second?" He looks up and so does every one else.

"Um... Y-Yeah! Sure, Samm." Well, no backing out now. We both get up and go into the hallway.

"What do you want Samm because you're not exactly the number one person, I want to talk to right now." He looked really sad at that moment. I did that.

I sighed, "Kyle, I know I hurt you and trust me, I hate myself for it. I am so sorry. I just hope, one day, you and I can be friends again."

He looks at me confused, "I thought we were friends... Is that all?" I look at him in disbelief.

"We are friends? I thought you hated me... And no, that's not it. I know you had a past with vampires and I wanted to make sure you're okay. Are you?" He sighed heavily.

"I could never hate you. You were my first love and one of my best friends. As far as being okay, yeah I guess. It just got me thinking, you know?" I smile a sad smile.

"Yeah, I know, but I don't think our nightmare, was just a nightmare." I said slowly.

JORDAN'S POV

That was weird of her... I hope they don't kill each other!

JACK'S POV

They have been out there for a while... I wonder what's going on?
