Being Played

Spiderman's POV
After I got done testing out my new and super cool suit, I was put on guard duty. I gotta tell you, guarding is so boring! Especially creepy to because of the inmates are always giving you a nasty look! "You're a fool boy." T'Challa (Black Panther) said, he got some nerve to say that! "Says the guy behind the cell." I teased and smiled. But then he said something that got me thinking "I may be in this cell, but at least I know when I'm being played." "What?" I asked, confused at what that meant. Before he could answer, Mr. Stark call me out of the Negative Zone. So I left, wondering just what the heck that meant. Who is playing me?

I went to his office, to see him and Crossbones waiting for me. What the heck? What is he doing here!? "Relax Peter, he's with us now." Mr. Stark explained, which didn't make it any better! "He attacked me! Put me in the hospital!" I exclaimed angrily "Trust me kid, I want to take Captain America down just as much as you do. Let's just put our differences aside to take him down." Crossbones said, and I gave him a disgusting look and said "Fine." "Peter, I need you to go with Brock and search around the city for Captain America and Winter Soldier. I know he's somewhere here and I want him taken down!" Mr. Stark ordered, ugh! Why him of all people!? This is going to be THE worse locate mission ever.

I put on my Iron Spider suit and we potraled around the city. We didn't see any sign of them, until we saw some strange figures on a rooftop. Me and Crossbones landed three rooftops away, to see Captain America, Winter Solider, an X-Men member I believe they call him Cyclops, a man with a red jumpsuit with devil like horns on his head, and another man with a skull on the middle of his chest and has an arsenal of weapons. "Found them. Let's call Mr-" I started, but before I could finish Crossbones flew over there looking for a fight. Oh come on dude!

I web-swinged over and kicked Winter Solider in the head. Crossbones began shooting at all of them, but the man with the skull on his chest began shooting back. "At ease Spiderman, you are being tricked!"Captain America said, but I knew he was just trying to make me let my guard down! I charged at him and swung at him, but he caught my hand ands tried to hit me with his shield, but my spider senses went off and I dodged and quickly spin kicked him back. "I didn't send Crossbones after you!" he exclaimed "Don't lie to me to save your own butt!" I shouted at him, but he said something that changed my outlook on everything.

"Think about it Peter, why would sent a Hydra agent after you? Also, why would Tony all of a sudden take Crossbones in as a New Avenger after what he did to you?" Oh my God...did Tony put a hit out on me? Would he? I didn't know what to believe anymore. Suddenly, I was shot from behind by the man with the skull on his chest and went down. Both hurt, and confused.
