"One more." I placed my drink on the bar and waited for him to make me a new one. He made one for me quick. Just as I was about to place some money on the counter he shook his head.

"On the house." He pushed the glass towards me. I nodded my head and went back to the table.

"Anyways. That's what's going on in my life. And, running into you made it harder for me to get some sex or some shit. So thanks for that, George." I looked at him. "I'd be in bed with someone if you didn't step on me and scare the shit outta me."

"I haven't been called George in ages."

"And?"

"There is no and."

I quickly downed my drink and looked at Ryan. "Let's get out of here." I stood up and straightened out my dress. "Are you cool of I sleep on your couch? Bren and Sarah are probably going to be out late and my current housing situation isn't the greatest thing right now." I chuckled.

"You want to stay with me? The person you've been mad at for however long years?"

"In all honesty... I'm wasted right now. So, I'm talking out of my ass. And you turned into a fine piece of ass who still has feelings for me. You're probably thinking about getting some. I don't have an issue with that thought. Cause I need sex. And sex is sex." I inhaled a deep breath and continued. "So, in short. Yes. I want to stay with you for the night. I'll sleep on the fucking couch if that's okay." I finished, aggravation in my tone. Ryan finished his drink and stood up. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder for support and helped me out to his car.

"You good?" He asked before closing the door. I smiled and nodded.

"Do you have any of your music?" I asked, looking at him as he walked around to the other side of the car.

"I can get some of my music." Ryan said, climbing in and starting his car. He pulled out his phone and synced it to his car.

"This is, uh, the album Jon, myself and a few guys made shortly after we left." He said before pushing play.

"You sound like The Beatles." I looked over at Ryan and smiled.

"That was the point." He replied, going to the next song. "You'll like this one." He smiled. Ryan started mumbling along with the music. But, knowing him. He probably hasn't listened to this in a long time. He probably doesn't even listen to his own music that much.

"I saw you, I met you," He paused for a moment and glanced at me. "I loved you, I left you in Cape Town..." He finished the chorus. I said that to him. But, we weren't in Cape Town when I did. We were in the apartment, breaking up.

"I like it." I stated, folding my hands onto my lap.

"I'm glad you do. This is two of my most recent songs." He picked up his phone as he halted at a stop light. As he clicked play and put his phone down, the light turned green. He pressed his foot on the gas just as the song started.

Ryan's voice matured. He didn't sound like a young John Lennon anymore. He sounded like a new singer. Singing songs about being invited to something and windows. But, damn, he sounds better.

"You sound good." I smiled, readjusting my position and looking at him. "I haven't listened to any of your things. Brendon kept telling me I had to. I didn't want to. I'm still hurt by what you said." I added. "You're really good." I repeated again.

"Thanks." Is all he replied, a small smile on his lips. "That means a lot to me." He nodded. He didn't acknowledge the fact that I haven't listened to his music.
