Far at the bank of Ganges a young devotee of Shri Vishnu got the news too. He cogitated for Adhip-the hart and soon it appeared in front of his eyes.

"Did you heard about the term placed for marrying the Princess? "The young man asked.

"I did, my friend! She is worth it. I told you about her the very first day I saw her. She is the idol of beauty. Even apsaras carve for the charm she possess. Her eyes are an enigma to everyone who tries to look into her soul through them. Her lips are queasier than the rose petals. Even the moon would be faded if placed Vis-a-Vis to her complexion, "Adhip said recalling the day he saw her near the lake.

"I know Adhip! I am in her love since the day you told me about her. Now the time has come to confess it. I will fulfill the condition she has kept and make her my wife."

"But how will you get an unaltered black coloured lotus? It doesn't even exists, "Adhip wanted to know.

"Hari will guide me, "The Brahmin replied patiently.

"You don't need to bother Hari this time. It's time for me to redeem our friendship. I can help you in getting what you want, "Adhip assured him with a smile.

"Does that mean you know a way to the black lotus?" He countered back the question.

"Yes. Few days back I stayed in a cove for rest. What I saw there was totally unbelievable to my eyes. I saw a lake claded by the lotus flowers. I guess they were divine flowers because none of them drooped as the days passed. One of them which had blossomed under a beam of sunlight got deflagarated by it and turned black without getting fade. I am sure that would still be there. Let's go, my friend! We need to reach there before anyone else does."

The next morning both of them stood in front of the princess' Castle holding a lotus of colour black.
The young brahmin was anxious to meet the girl he had wished to marry.
He was taken to the King's levee where he found her lady of dreams sitting beside her father.

"Your majesty! I have came here to ask for your daughter's hand and though I have fulfilled your condition you have got no way to deny me," He spoke confidently.

The king asked if he had brought an unaltered black lotus.Instead of replying he went forward and offered the flower to the princess which she willingly accepted.
But the next moment the flower was being crushed between her palms.

"A beautiful lady like me is not supposed to marry a clumsy poor Brahmin like you. I don't care if you have been sincere at my terms. Just get lost of here!" She exclaimed throwing the crushed petals over him.

The brahmin was shattered to hear this.
He said, "O arrogant lady! You will have to pay for this vanity.I curse you that you won't ever get marry in this life. In your next life you will carry the same beauty you fly high over. You will fall in love like I had fallen for you. Your love will be true and devout but due to my curse you will never have him.
You will feel the agony of separation. Your true love will be left unaccomplished the way mine has been. That's my curse!"

Precap:Everyone including the princess was left agape after hearing this...

I am imagining senseless plots :')
Hope it's not getting boring. There is a lot to come.Though it's my imagination but even if it was true then I feel this curse too would have been scribbled somewhere by the pen of fate...
