"Yashoda! Is everyone ready? We are leaving soon," Nanda called his wife.

"Everyone is here, Swami! Except that impish little son of yours," she replied.

"Do you mean you haven't yet got Krishna ready?"

"Could I? I got him bathed and dressed up even before myself but now I can't see him in the house. He must be busy planning his another mischief. Who would believe that the five years old boy is such a devil behind his innocent face," Yashoda complained.

"Oh Yashoda! You always keep complaining about Kaanha but the moment he will come before your eyes all your rage will get soothed in a moment," Nanda laughed knowing that Yashoda even with all her anger couldn't conceal her love and concern for her son.

Before Yashoda could utter a word a sound sweeter than the melodies of Saraswati's Lyra struck her ears. She turned as her favourite voice spoke, "Maiyaa! Why are you so angry?"

"Don't act so clueless, Krishna! Where have you been since morning? You knew that we have to leave for Vrindavan before sunset," Yashoda said trying to still sound angry.

"But Maiyaa, there is still a lot of time for sun to set. I had gone to bid goodbye to my friends." Krishna said.

"Don't lie to me now. All the villagers are coming with us. To which friend you needed to say goodbye?"

"I am not lying Maiyaa! I went to meet the trees and the river Yamuna. How could I leave before seeing them. They too are my friends Maa."

"Oh Kaanha!" Yashoda's eyes were brimmed with tears as she spoke, "I know you love them a lot but you didn't needed to say goodbye to Yamuna. She will meet you there in Vrindavan."

"Is she also coming with us Maa?"

"Yes, she is. Now go and be seated in the cart."

"As you order, maiyaa!"

The little Krishna ran out to do what his mother said.

"It's really tough for him Swami!" Yashoda said to Nanda. "He loves Gokul. He loves the soil of this land and not just the people."

"But we don't have a choice, Yashoda! Gokul is no longer safe for him. We must be thankful to the Almighty for saving him from those Asuras, we can't risk his life knowingly." Nanda was serious while these words escaped his mouth.

"Yes, you are right!" Sighed Yashoda.

Soon, they were on the way to Vrindavan.

Short chapter! Isn't it?
But wouldn't it have been boring to introduce both Radha and Krishna in the same
chapter?

Let there be a bit more waiting moments for both of them;)
Because that's the flavour of love<3<3<3
