(C-14 Bad news)

The next morning Lauren was awoken to some bad news.

"Honey" a Clara shook Lauren trying to wake her , "Lo" she shook again.

"Mmh" Lauren mumbled into her pillow. "I have some bad news" Lauren instantly sat up.

"Is Camila alright" She asked with concern, "uh no honey Camila's alright, it's uh your grandmother ... She passed away last night " Clara's voice broke at that last word.

Lauren sat frozen, no this couldn't be, her grandma was fine last week when they saw her. This has to be a dream.

"Wake up Lauren , wake up" Lauren was whispering to herself. "Honey it's not a dream" Clara told her and brought her daughter into her arms.

"Mum please tell me it's not real, please" Lauren burst out into tears. Clara couldn't find the words but instead she hugged Lauren even tighter.

Mike soon entered the room to comfort them , Chris and Taylor joined. Mike wasn't crying he wanted to be there for them.

Chris didn't show his tears he just hugged he's dad, Taylor clung onto Clara aswell.

"It's alright guys I'm gonna call your school and tell them your not coming in today" Clara sat up and wiped her eyes. "Just get some rest".

"Has anyone seen Lauren?" Camila asked as she walked into school with Dinah, Normani and Cara. With 3 seperate nopes she started to get worried.

"Ask Ally" Normani suggested, as on cue Ally walked around the corner.

"Ally!" Camila yelled and ran up to her, "have you heard from Lauren?" She asked.

"No sorry I was about to ask you the same" Troy was supposed to meet Chris this morning but he didn't answer he's phone either.

"Shit, maybe somethings wrong should I go over there?" Camila asked her friends once everyone had caught up.

"Do you wanna miss school?" Dinah asked, "Lauren is more important than school" Camila replied. "Fine go" Dinah put her hands up in defence.

Camila pulled up at the Jauregui's and ran up the path. She knocked on the door really fast.

A few minutes after Mike answered "Hey Camila " he didn't sound he's usual self.

"Hi mike is Lauren home?" She was eager to see her.

He rubbed the back of his neck "I don't know if she really would want guest at this time but I'll let you go up, just respect what she says because there's been a family incident" he assured her.

"Oh alright" she replied and didn't know what he meant, she slowly climbed the stairs and stopped at Lauren's door.

She could hear faint crying and pushed open Lauren's door.

"Babe?" Camila whispered and stepped closer, "Camila?" Lauren looked up with teary eyes.

"Can you cuddle me" Lauren said softly, it hurt Camila to see Lauren this sad.

"Of course Bub" The younger said and dropped her stuff beside the bed and jumped in bed to hold Lauren.

Lauren curled up around Camila's side and laid her head on the smaller girls chest.

Camila rubbed circles around Lauren's back " do, do you wanna talk about it?" Camila whispered. Lauren closed her eyes and went to talk but a lump in her throat was stopping her.

"It's alright , you can talk to me" Camila placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "It's so hard Camz, my grandma she" Lauren uncontrollably started crying again.

"Hey, hey it's alright did she .. Pass away?" Camila didn't want to say that but she wanted to help Lauren.

The green eyed girl nodded and his her face into Camila's chest. "I'm sorry Lo, I'm here" the younger girl rubbed Lauren's arm.

Camila had been at Lauren's for 2 hours and Lauren had just fallen asleep.

Camila reached down and grabbed her phone out of her bag, she wanted to let the others know Lauren was alright.

*Ringing Dj*

D: Hey Mila, you at Lauren's?

C: Yeah ..

D: Is everything alright?

C: not really

D: shit what happened is Lo hurt

C: physically no , emotionally yeah

D: what happened

C: her , grandma passed
/ Camila whispered just in case Lauren heard her

D: aw shit , man I wasn't expecting that

C: yeah either,she's just gone to sleep

D: well I'll go so you can watch her

C: can you tell the others , just tell them not to call I know they are will wanna check on her but she can hardly talk

D: yeah they'll understand , we love you two

C: thanks D love you to

Camila hung up and laid down next to Lauren and pulled her close.

5 days later and Lauren still hadn't left her bed, Camila came and went between school times, it was now Saturday and Camila wanted to see her girlfriend.

She walked up the familiar path and let herself in , Camila knew it was only Lauren home the others were out distracting themself from the pain.

Lauren on the other hand couldn't bare the loss of her grandmother. She was the closest person to Lauren before Camila, she was the first person Lauren had came out to and was laughing when Lauren started crying. She didn't see why she had made a big deal out of it.

Camila picked up some breakfast for Lauren she knew she wouldn't eat it but it was worth a try.

As she ascended the stairs she felt tired herself from the sleepless nights of calling Lauren to check up on her and just loss of sleep from worrying to much.

She arrived in Lauren's room and sat down next to girl who was staring out the window.

"Lo, I brought you some food" Camila said and picked up the untouched breakfast she had brought over yesterday, she switched with the new food.

"Please eat something, you're gonna get sick" Camila said as she pulled the pancakes out.

"I got you your favourite" Camila said trying to lighten the mood, but sighed when she failed.

When Camila sighed Lauren turned around to see her girlfriend trudging over to the bathroom.

Lauren didn't want to hurt Camila she didn't want her to have to suffer because Lauren was , she had been thinking about telling Camila something but was afraid.

Should she do it or not?.
