C-22 Youre everything ill ever need

Lauren laid Camila down into her bed, placed a kiss on her head. "I'm sorry for not being there, I love you" Lauren said as she walked over to the window.

"Stay" Camila's raspy voice brought Lauren to stop.

"Camz your... Your dad is in the next room" Lauren replied as she stood by the Window.

"Fuck him" she said while her eyes were still closed. "I'll get you in trouble" the green eyed girl said.

"Fine" Camila replied and rolled over, "I'll be back in the morning" Lauren said and climbed through the window.

"I love you Lauren" Camila whispered, yes Lauren heard.

The next morning Camila awoke with a pounding headache she blinked a few times and reached over to the bedside table where she keeps her pain killers.

She took the pain killers and rubbed the side of her head as she laid back down.

"Camila honey?" Sinu called from the door, "are you awake?" She said as she pushed open the door.

Camila sat up as her mother walked in, "I wanted to talk to you about what happened the other night" she said as she sat down on the end of her daughters bed.

"Mum I don't want to" Camila interrupted.

"Please Camila, I know he messed up this family but he has sobered up and wants to be her for us, for you" Sinu said.

"Un-fucking believable, you are honestly thinking about this shit? You gave him a chance before and he fucked that up when he found out that I was a 'sin' to this house" Camila yelled as she stood up and walked over to her closet.

"Hey, I know he hasn't done so well in the past-

"So well? He fucked this family up mum, you cried for nights and I stood there helpless at 6 years old, then again at 15. Do you honestly know how hard that was for me to see my father abusing my mother and I literally couldn't do a thing" Camila said with tears rushing down her face.

"I know and I'm sorry, that you had to see that-

"NO I'm SORRY that I fucked up this family by being myself, which happens to be gay" Camila replied and grabbed her hoddie from the closet.

"You didn't mess anything up, I love you for you honey, your dad had a hard time accepting it but he has changed" Sinu said.

"I'm constantly torn between people can change and people can't change, because Alejandro is a big fucking example of someone who CANT change, you know what I'm so fucking done like I can't stand it here anymore, I'll be back soon"  the younger girl said and grabbed her phone before storming down the stairs and out the door.

Sinu got up to chase her daughter but once she was outside Camila was know where to be seen. She sighed and went back inside.

Camila had hid in the bushes knowing her mother would come out. When she had gone back inside Camila started running towards Lauren's house with tears streaming down her face.

She knocked on the door silently hoping Lauren would answer the door, unfortunately it was Clara.

"Hello- Camila honey are you alright do you need anything?" Clara's motherly instincts took over.

"Can I pl-ease see Lauren" she cried.

"I'll get her" Clara said as she motioned for Camila to come in.

"Lauren come quick" she called from downstairs she held Camila in her arms.

"What do you need" Lauren called back.

"I don't need anything it's Camila", before Clara could finish the sentence Lauren was running down the stairs.

Her heart shattered at the sight of her girlfriend, "Camz" she barely whispered and brought her into her arms.

"Are you okay, what happened?" Lauren pulled her back by her shoulders to look at her.

"Can we go to your room?" Camila replied and wiped her eyes.

Lauren nodded and lead Camila up the stairs by holding her hand.

Once in Lauren's room Camila broke down, Lauren stood there heartbroken.

"Camz please talk to me" she said and laid Camila onto her chest and pulled the blankets over them.

"Same old fucking drama with my dad... He, he wants to come back and live with us" Camila sighed.

"He left my mum when I was 6, 6 Lauren. He started drinking when I was around 5 because he lost his job, then every night he would abuse my mum if she didn't cook what he felt like and  if she didn't do something he wanted." She paused

"I stood there at 6 years old watching him hurt her, or ... Pull...pull her pants down so he could- Lauren interrupted her.

"I know what you mean, and I'm so sorry" Lauren rubbed circles around her back.

"But it was right in front of me, I didn't know what to do mum would tell me to go to my room and listen to my music, but I knew she wasn't okay I just couldn't do anything"

"It wasn't until the next day when I went to school that my teacher asked me if I was okay because I was sitting by myself on a bench crying. I told her that I was scared to leave my mum home alone and scared to go home, she asked me why, I told her that 'daddy has to much beer and he goes crazy and hurts mummy, I'm scared that he might hurt me'" Camila's tears started again.

"She ended up calling the police and telling them what I told her, they went around to our house later that night when I was sitting at my little table colouring in while dad was yelling at mum because she didn't go to the shop and buy him more beer, the police could hear the yelling as they came closer to the door I could see them out the window and I yelled 'daddy stop hurting mummy she's bleeding' because she was bleeding and I wanted to police to take him away. Just as my dad got closer to me the police barged through the door and pointed guns at him and told him to freeze or they'll shoot, they ended up taking him away, and I though we would be safe then" Camila said.

"Camz I'm so sorry , I didn't know all of this. If I can in anyway help, please tell me" Lauren replied.

"Just holding me and being there for me really helps" Camila smiled weakly at her girlfriend.

"You're everything I'll ever need" Camila said, Lauren smiled and placed a kiss on her girlfriends forehead.

"But he ended up at our door step 8 years later, I was 14, and gave us a sob story about how he really misses us and he was really sorry, he went to prison for 3 of those years and the rest were spent getting sober"

"He came and saw us every few days and I started to forgive him, he moved in with us 4 months after that, I was only 14 and I wanted my dad in my life, I thought for real that he had changed that was until 5 days after my 15th birthday I came out to my parents" Camila sighed at the memory.

"He laughed and told me to stop joking my mum just told me that as long as I'm happy she's happy, but my dad stood up and went off. He said 'don't be so ridiculous, this phase you're going through will leave you soon' I was so crushed I fake smiled then went to my room and cried the rest of that night, I knew I was gay at 13 when all the girls were talking about Matthew Daniels the 'hottest boy' in school, it just hurt me that he couldn't accept me, the yelling and abuse all started again.. Because of me"
Camila cried.

"Hey, no don't you ever say that, you didn't absolutely nothing wrong, you're father is a idiot for not loving you for you. Don't you ever blame yourself" Lauren said and placed a kiss on Camila's forehead.

"Mum had the courage to tell him to leave, he was actually happy to he packed his bags and left, never until the other day had we seen or heard of him."
