(C-20 Love)

Lauren went home that night, her 'love' assignment was due the next day, and she didn't know where to start.

She decided to ring Camila.

C- Hello
L- Hey could you help me with this Love shit
C- nope this is up to you, come on baby I know you have it in you
L- ugh thanks for no help
C- I love you
L- yeah yeah I love you too

Lauren sighed and hung up she had to finish this tonight or else she wouldn't be on Mrs Carters good side.

About 2 hours later and 20 drafts later Lauren finally was happy with her project.

She smiled at the piece of paper and slid it into her bag ready for tomorrow.

"Goodmorning everyone, I expect to see the chosen students to have their assignments here, who would like to go first?" Mrs Carter asked.

No one raise their hand.

"Alright fine I'll go" Cara said and stood up.

"Alright so you asked for my honest opinions and that's is, Love is Love regardless of gender, skin colour or race. Everyone deserves to love and to be loved. The end" Cara spoke then went back to her seat.

"That's great Cara, but I was hoping for more" The teacher replied. "Okay miss Jauregui you're up" Mrs Carter said.

Lauren stood up and made her way out to the front,

"Love is a strange thing.

You never really know what love is, until you're in love.

When I was little I thought love was when you got your first boyfriend or girlfriend and you were 8, you hid behind the toilet block to kiss them, or you gave them the chocolate bar your mum packed for you.
( Camila giggled at her that)

But honestly there's so much more to it.

Yeah, I've been in love.

I'm currently in love, I believe she's the love of my life. It probably sounds cheesy but I really do believe it.

And yes I see the confused faces, I meant to say 'she', if you truly love someone gender doesn't mean a thing.

Love is a mystery.

When I locked eyes for the first time with those mesmerising brown eyes, I knew i had found the one, I didn't exactly know what 'the one' meant but still I knew she was the one.

I never really did like brown eyes, that was until I fell in love with hers.

I love everything about her.

I love her for her flaws, for her perfections. I love her because she brings happiness, I love her simply for her.

She'll always be 'the one' and I'll always love her.

Even though love isn't about possession it's about appreciation

She's my happiness, my hope, my peace, ..she's my everything.

"Now guys that is how you do an assignment, thank you Lauren. I really liked your idea of the different sections" Mrs Carter said as she clapped along with the students.

Lauren smiled and walked back to her seat where Camila was there to greet her with a massive grin.

"You did so well Lo" Camila said and wrapped her arms around her girlfriends waist.

"You were my muse, so thank you" Lauren smiled and placed a kiss on the smaller girls head.

"Ayyeee Regz" a tall muscly teen age boy with brown hair called from across the parking lot.

Camila instantly turned around to see the boy walking closer to her girlfriend. Lauren had a massive smile on her face as she waved back.

"Camz I'll be back" Lauren said as she ran towards the brown headed boy. Camila didn't know who this guy was and why he was now hugging HER girlfriend.

"Thomas what the fuck, how long have you been back?" Lauren asked, "well I got back yesterday and I'm staying with my parents again" he answered.

"Nice, nice. So who's that hottie with the dark brown hair?" Tom asked as he nodded towards Camila who was watching them closely.

"Oh that's my girlfriend" Lauren smiled in response as she motioned for her to come over, "Damn how do you get and keep a girl like that?" He laughed.

"Smack her ass and call her princess" Lauren replied.

"Hi" Camila said as she wrapped her arms around her girlfriend, "hey princess" Lauren replied as she playfully smacked Camila's butt, then she smirked towards Thomas.

"Who's this?" The younger girl asked, "oh this is Thomas, we met like 5 years ago and we hung out a lot until his parents kicked him out and he had to live with his Aunty" Lauren laughed and shoved the boy.

"What can I say, we were double trouble" he laughed as Lauren smiled.

Camila raised an eyebrow, "We were actually stupid" Lauren replied and shook her head.

"Agreed" Thomas laughed.

C- Hi, how are you
L- I'm well, how are you
C- I'm alright I was just wondering if you wanna come over and watch some movies with me
L- aw babe I'd love to but I can't, I'm meeting up with Tom tonight.
C- oh
L- is there something wrong
C- uh- no it's alright you have fun
L- I'm sorry I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?
C- yeah bye
L- I love you
C- you too

Ouch, Lauren thought as she heard the beeping indicating that Camila had hung up.

"Everything all good?" Tom asked as he held the branch back for Lauren.

"I think Camz is mad" She replied as she stepped over a fallen down branch. "Is it because of me?" He asked.

"Probably" Lauren laughed, "you know I don't wanna cause shit like I did with Chase, because he thought we were 'secretly dating'" Thomas shook his head.

"Yeah I know, but I would never hurt Camz" Lauren said as she reached the door of an abandoned cabin.

"Yo lets go in" Thomas said as he ran up behind her, "wait what if someone lives in there?" The younger girl asked.

"Who would be living in a cabin that has a tree that's collapsed onto the roof, a front smashed window and half of a front door?" Thomas raised his eyebrow.

"Well- fuck off and hurry up and go in" Lauren rolled her eyes as she pushed Thomas through the door.

"Ouch, fucking hell Lauren" he said as he landed inside on to. a pile of leaves and old stuff from the cabin.

Lauren leaned against the door way while laughing, "shut up and help me" the boy said as he reached his arm out.

Lauren helped him up then went to explore the old cabin.

"Hey Tom come here" Lauren called from the wrecked kitchen.

"Looks like someone had a good stash of beer and alcohol" Lauren laughed as she pulled out a bottle labelled 'Tooeys New"

"Tooeys New? Never heard of it" Thomas said as he held up the bottle. "Coming from you i would have though you new every beer" Lauren replied.

"Beerology is a hard subject" he said and sat the bottle on what was left of the counter.

"I'm pretty sure it's Australian" the younger said.

"I dare you to drink it" Lauren said as she crossed her arms.

"Eww why would I drink old beer?" He said as he stepped back.

"Uh because I dared you?" Lauren said with sarcasm.

"I'm not drinking shit" he shrugged and walked back towards the door.

"We best to be going it will get dark soon and we have a good 20-25 minute hike" he added.

"Alright will remember this place, maybe we could do it up and have it as a little hang out" Lauren replied.
