"Yo I call dibs on the spare bed" Dinah yelled out.

"No fair" Lauren replied and sat up. "She called it" Ally said.

"Me and Camz will share the lounge bed then" Lauren rolled her eyes.

"Guess I'll sleep here" Normani said as she laid back down.

Dinah hesitated to ask Normani to sleep with her. "Alright then goodnight" was all she said to Normani then walked up stairs.

The next morning Camila was the first to wake up, shortly after to Camila's surprise Dinah came down the stairs and joined her at the bench table in the kitchen.

"Morning sleepy" Camila said as she looked up from her phone.

"Hi" Dinah replied and sighed. "Well spill it, what's wrong?" Camila placed her phone down.

"Well I mean I like Normani but she isn't acting on anything, like we haven't moved on since the 'I have feelings for you' speech" Dinah sat and laid her head on her arms.

"I kinda noticed, is that why you didn't say 'love you' like you normally do?" Camila asked.

"I didn't want to say I love you, so instead I said goodnight. Because love means falling and I'm afraid of heights" Dinah replied.

"Shit when did you have a heart" Camila smirked. "Millllaaaa, this isn't the time" Dinah tried to stay serious.

"You're right, I'm sorry" Camila held in her giggle. "Look just tell her how you feel, if you're falling for her tell her you want to take the next step or you have to move on" Camila placed a hand on Dinah's lower back.

"Fine" was all Dinah replied with.

"Bye Ally thanks for having us" Lauren said for both her and Camila.

"Eww you're that couple who talks for each other "us" or "we" form" Dinah said and rolled her eyes.

"Leave her alone" Camila yelled defending Lauren.

"Whatever" Dinah shook her head. "It's all good, we have to do it again soon" Ally replied.

"Definitely" Normani smiled and waved before heading over to her car.

"Hey mani?" Dinah asked while Lauren and Camila were talking to Ally.

"What's up D?" Normani stopped and turned around. "I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere so we could talk" Dinah said nervously.

"Oh uh, yeah.. Let's meet up at little brick cafe just down the road" Normani smiled and placed a hand on Dinah's shoulder.

"Alright" Dinah smiled in return.

Everyone said there goodbyes and left. 15 minutes later Normani and Dinah sat across from each other in a booth at little brick café.

"So what did you wanna talk about exactly?" Normani broke the awkward silence.

"This, me and you" Dinah replied and took a sip of her drink.

"I thought we where all good?" Normani raised an eyebrow. "No, well yeah we are but I was talking about our relationship, if you wanted to go further or?" Dinah said.

"Oh... I was waiting for you , I mean I like you in that way I just thought you weren't ready" Normani reached over and held Dinah's free hand.

"I mean I want to make us official" Normani added.

Dinah smiled and looked down "I'd like that".

"Well I don't want to ask you in this little café" Normani said and stood up.

"Dinah Jane I would like you to accompany me on a walk along the beach" the darker skinned girl asked and she stretched out her hand.

"Id love to" Dinah reached for Normani's hand and gratefully took it in her own.

"So beautiful, we have been walking along this beach for 10 minutes and I would like to ask you a question" Normani stopped Dinah.

"What may that question be?" Dinah played along. "Well you know I really like you, like a lot. So I was wondering if you'd maybe be my official girlfriend, but I mean you don't have to" Normani smirked.

"mmh 'your girlfriend' I like the sound of that" Dinah grinned.

"So it's a yes?" Normani smiled. "Of course" Dinah said and leaped into the older girls arms.

"It also means I can do this with out hesitation" Dinah smiled and captured Normani's lips in her own.

"Mmh I could get used to that" Normani licked her lips.

"Hey Camz, I just realised we haven't really told you mother about us" Lauren laughed as she carelessly played with her girlfriends hair.

"Holy shit, we haven't, I'm sure she'd suspect something though" Camila answered as she looked up at Lauren with a smile.

"Have you ever told your parents like girls?" Camila asked Lauren.

"Not really, I mean I've had a girlfriend they didn't know about and I've had a boyfriend,and now there's you" Lauren answered truthfully.

"Who was girl?" Camila sat up as she asked.

"Alright she's in the past we were on and off for a few months then she moved away, her name was Alex" Lauren said as she laid Camila back down in her lap.

"Why didn't you ever tell your parents about her?" Camila asked. "I guess I was just scared honestly, I was 15 and thought I was in love" Lauren laughed at the last bit.

"Do you think you're in love now?" Camila said.

"Nope" Lauren answered.

"I know".

Camila sat up again and pulled Lauren's lips to her own, "you Lauren are the reason I believe in love" Camila said and traced the green eyed girls cheek bone.

"Wanna tell your mum in the morning?" Lauren said as she rubbed the back of Camila's neck.

"Even though she'll probably know, I want to tell her" Camila answered and stood up.

She walked over to turn the light off, "you're staying the night, right?" She asked as she stood by the light switch.

"Of course, if you want me to" Lauren raised an eyebrow. "Eh I guess you can stay" Camila smirked and and ran back over to the bed.

"Snuggle with me" Camila said as she payed down next to her girlfriend.

"Only because I love you" Lauren answered and pulled the brown eyed girl close to her side.
