The (old) New Directions stood in the auditorium, wearing blue and were preparing to perform. They ignored Will's advice to give up and decided to perform. They were getting ready in the auditorium with one last rehearsal then they were heading out to perform.
"We can do this." Ryley tells everyone.
"Let's hope people actually watch our performance and like it." Jake says.
They leave the auditorium and head to the courtyard. They all go sit on the steps. Ryley has an old school stereo and she presses play, the music playing through out the courtyard. They begin the moves like in the music video of the song.
[Ryley with ND Girls with ND Boys Harmonizing:]

All the harmony went fallin' out of key, so

Kitty with the New Directions girls move through the tables, people watching in curiosity.

The girls with the guy return to the stage for the chorus.

[Kitty (with ND Girls):]

Because he didn't do jack for (me)
