Ryley's eyes opened slowly the next morning. As soon as she remembered they finally had the money for Glee Club, she smiled. She got out of bed and went up to her mirror, studying her reflection.
She notices the scar on her hair line from last years Tyler drama. She raises her hand to brush over the scar and as she touches it, she feels a cold chill and remembers the pain she felt that night. She puts her hand back down and sighs. She then takes a shower, dries her hair then gets dressed.
She goes downstairs and into the kitchen, passing her dads' at the dining table on the way.
"Morning." Ryley says as she opens the fridge up.
"Morning sweetie." Leroy says, placing his coffee down after taking a sip from his drink.
"Morning." Hiram says, taking a bite from his toast.
"You seem very cheerful this morning." Leroy says to Ryley.
"I am since we finally have the money we need for Glee Club." Ryley says, grabbing the carton of juice to get herself a drink.
"That's great." Leroy says.
"Is Mr Schuester returning to coach the club?" Hiram asks.
"No. He gave up on us ages ago. Finn is coaching us." Ryley says, putting two bits of bread in the toaster before taking a sip of her drink.
"Good luck with Glee Club this year, honey." Leroy says.
"Thank you." Ryley says, grabbing her toast as it pops out of the toaster. She covers it in Nutella, eats it, finishes her juice and grabs her school bag. She finishes getting ready for school then hears a car horn toot outside.
"Bye Dad and Daddy!" Ryley shouts as she runs down the stairs.
"Have a good day, Ryley!" Leroy calls out.
"Bye." Hiram calls out.
Ryley leaves her house and goes to the car in the drive way; Ryder's car. She gets into the passengers seat and does her seat belt up. She pecks Ryder's lips before he backs out of the driveway.
"When are you going to get your own licence and car?" Ryder asks.
"I don't trust myself behind the wheel of a car. I've learnt my lesson from the many cars I've crashed on Grand Theft Auto. All of them get damaged so much, they explode sometimes." Ryley says.
Ryder chuckles, "That is just a video game."
"I know but I'm not a good driver." Ryley says.
Ryder chuckles again, shaking his head. They drive down the street. They arrive at school after a few minutes of them talking and driving.
"I've got to meet up with Finn soon since I have all the money on me." Ryley says.
Ryder gives her a kiss, "Good luck."
"Thanks." Ryley says.
Ryder gets out first, rushing to Ryley's side to open up the door for her. She laughs a little at him being chivalrous and takes his hand when offers it to her so he can help her out.
"Why are you being so chivalrous today?" Ryley asks as he closes the door once she's out of the car.
"Can't a boyfriend be nice to his girlfriend?" Ryder asks.
"He can." Ryley says, smiling at him. He pecks her cheek and says see you later before she spots Finn across the car park and rushes up to him. Ryder goes off into the school building.
