Alexandria: You want to be better than Leeroy. Not worse!!!!. You're gifted you have things that others dream of. Don't let it go to waste J.R.
J.R cries: You left me. This is all your fault. If you woulda woke up that morning I wouldn't be going through this shit.

Alexandria: You have to take that up with god J.R. If you end up in here again. I won't be back to visit. I love you take care.

J.R. Screams: Momma, Momma come back I need to talk to you.
( J.R wakes up in his cell sweating and shaking)
Counselor Michaels: You were in your cell Four months, no drinking, no nothing. When you were released why didn't you quit???
J.R: Because I didn't want to quit Counselor. I wasn't trying to get help. Hell, I wasn't trying to get help now.,The judge gave me an option 10 years in prison or 8 months looking at you everyday. Any asshole would of took the eight months.
Counselor Michaels: So you don't want to be here....?
J.R.: Of course I do Im just comparing then to now. Those 120 days were hell but I still didn't give a damn about the law. Those 120 days in Rikers Island only made me worse. It wouldn't be the last time I saw a jail cell. The dream I had about my mother was so real, she was talking to me from the grave. When I got out I felt I had a point to prove to her, but I failed because instead I should have been proving something to myself...

Tammi: Don't ever leave us like that again please. Those 4 months felt like 4 years.
J.R.: I can't promise you that Tammi!!!!
(Tammi stops)
Tammi: WHAT the hell do you mean you can't promise me that.?
J.R.: Don't cuss infront of the baby....
