Counselor Michaels: I kept my word. I made sure J.R.'s name lived on. Lily and I kept in touch through phone calls and letters, and she eventually sent me J.R.'s diary. In June of 1995 I retired from counseling and started writing Jerrick's book The Diary of A Mad Black Drunk Man.  The book was published in April of 1999 and sold over 150 million copies. Yes Yes Yes I made alot of money. J.R. inspired me. J.R. might of said that I changed his life, but he changed mines in more ways than one. It's not over yet. I've became a writer and producer all because of J.R.. The J.R. Payton story will come out in movie theaters worldwide on Friday December 13th, 2013. A young upcoming actor named Reggie Worthy will be playing Jerrick.  Arthur Knight will be playing Lucas. Johnny Gamble will be playing Omar and Breana Bell will be playing Lily. If you wanna know the rest you have to go to the movies. I've even had a J.R. Payton Elementary School built in Brownsville, Brooklyn New York.

J.R.'s killer Dennis Clifton didn't survive two months in Rikers Island. He was beaten to death by two inmates. The inmates said they did it out of respect for J.R.

J.R. Junior graduated High School in 1999. He was awarded a scholarship to play basketball for Rutgers University in New York. He started point guard 4 straight years. His Senior Year he was busted with 10 eight balls of crack cocaine and kicked off the team and out of the University. Afterwards he made a name for himself in Brooklyn as one of the most powerful Drug Dealers. He reminded people everywhere of his father. Soon he would be charged with Two Murders and also as a Kingpin. He's serving two life sentences in a Correctional Facility in Indiana as of August 2007. He is now 31 years old.

Tammi and Teddy Peters moved to Ohio in 2000. Tammi has nerve to blame J.R. for how Junior turned out. I have nothing else to say about her.

Omar and Lorrie were married on J.R.'s birthday in 1996. They're still married and had a child name Jerika in 1998. They now reside in Orange, New Jersey. Omar is now 55 Lorrie is 54.

Lucas retired from the Garbage Business in January of 1995. He then started his own Taxi Cab Company in Queens then sold it in 2003. Penny died from breast cancer in 2004. Lucas now resides in Upstate New York he's 58 years old.

Uncle Bo still resides in Brooklyn he's retired and visits everyone's grave every Sunday. He's now 71 years old.

Uncle John died in May of 2002 from a heart attack he was 63 years old.

Lily took the job at the law firm in September of 1994 in Florida. She never remarried and never dated again. She said her heart will forever and always belong to Jerrick J.R. Payton.  She's retired and resides in Orange, New Jersey and just three blocks away from Omar and Lorrie. She's 58 years old.

I took the money that I made from the book and made a movie on J.R.'s life. It's going to be huge. Tonight I'm meeting Lucas, Lily, Omar and Uncle Bo at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Times Square.
