Chapter 6
I woke to not the usual sound of my alarm but sunlight streaming through the curtains and birds chirping.
I slowly got out of bed being cautious of my sore bones. I walked into the on suite that just about every room had and took a shower. After I finished I got changed into a plain white T-Shirt and some high waisted shorts. I blow dried my hair and tied it in a pony tail before applying some makeup and leaving the room.
On the way down stairs I checked to see if Luke and Levi had gone to meet dad yet. And after finding no one in either of their rooms I assumed they were eating breakfast. I grabbed my phone and checked the time.
10:30
I slowly walked down the stairs about to meet my dad for the first time in 8 years. I was dreading it.
He probably has a stuck up barbie girlfriend.
He is going to be so rude.
He is never going to pay any attention to us.
He hates us.
I took a step into the kitchen to see Luke Levi and dad all sitting very awkwardly at the breakfast bar. Luke and Levi gave me 'Get me out of here looks' while dad just looked at me like I was an alien.
"Uh Leah so long no see huh?" He said jokingly. "You've grown." He added looking me up and down.
"That's what happens when you haven't paid any attention to your daughter for the last eight years." I said angrily becoming upset. He was just about to reply when a blonde bimbo spoke up from the other side of the room, I hadn't even noticed she was here.
"You will treat your father with more respect please." She said with an ignorant tone.
"Who are you to tell me what to do?" I asked as I stepped closer.
"Your new step mother." She replied while smiling sarcastically.
"Step mother my ass!" I yelled about to take a swing right for her petty caked face. But before I could I was being held back by Luke and Levi wasn't far behind him. They brought me back up stairs into my room and shut the door.
"Leah we don't like them either but you can't just lash out like that!" Luke hissed as we tried to stay quiet.
"She's trying to be our mum Luke how can you be okay with that?" I cried as I broke out in sobs.
Luke hugged me as he tried to calm me down. "We're not okay with it but mum wouldn't want us too be attacking every bitch we meet would she?" He asked. I smiled he could always make me feel better.
"Thanks Luke." I mumbled into his neck.
"That's okay, now try be nice." He said as he stood up.
"Yeah that's not going to happen, I won't snap her in half but there is no way on earth I am going to be nice to that cow."
Luke smiled. I decided to eat out for breakfast. I grabbed my wallet and phone and slipped on some converse before leaving the house, Pride intact.

I went to Starbucks and got some coffee before heading to the local park to drink it in peace. The park wasn't far from the house and very close to the beach.
I didn't feel bad at all for trying to hit her. She was rude and trying to replace my mum which no one could do, I hated her and couldn't believe my dad had married her. But better it to be her than the skank he was hooking up with when he was still with mum.
