Chapter 1

*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*

I groaned as I fit the alarm causing it to fall off my night stand. But the thought that today was finally my last day of school before the summer holidays caused me to jump out of bed. I had been waiting all school year for this summer because this year I had 3 amazing best friends to share it with. Kelly, Chloe, Taylor and I had known each other since freshmen year. But this year we have grown so close and have been planning all school year for the most perfect summer.

I snapped out of my day dream and ran down stairs. My twin brother, Luke and Levi where eating there breakfast in front of the TV while my mum, Rosie was cooking more breakfast for herself and I.

"Hey mum." I said as I entered the kitchen. I took a seat on one of the bar stools at the breakfast bar.

"Hi sweetie, what would you like for breakfast on your last day of the year?" She asked. I smiled and looked over what she had prepared. My options where pancakes or bacon and eggs.

"Um can I have a pancake with some fruit please mum?" I asked with a pleading look on my face. She nodded. I smiled and ran back upstairs. I decided to take the time while she was cooking to start getting ready for my last day. I went into the bathroom and took a hot shower before wrapping the towel around me and waddling into my room. I opened the door to my closet and flicked through my options. I pulled out a white muscle tee and some ripped shorts. After putting on my clothes I rummaged through the bottom of my closet and pulled out my low white converse. When my outfit was completed I went back into the bathroom to fix my hair. I have light brown hair that just touches the top of my butt. I blow dried through it and then brushed out all the knots before putting it up in a messy bun. While I was in the bathroom I applied my makeup and then ran back down the stairs for my breakfast.

"Thanks mum!" I called as I quickly ate my breakfast. Once I finished I ran back up the stairs and packed my school bag. Putting all the books an stationary I would need and then zipping it up and throwing it over my shoulder. I grabbed my phone and headed out the front door as I walked down the road to the bus stop and after a few minutes the bus arrived and I took the ride to Carrington High School.

Once I arrived at school I walked straight to my first class which was math since I was little late. Once I got to class I took my seat nest to Chloe.

"Hey!" She exclaimed as she wrapped me in a hug.

"Hey Chlo. Guess what!" I said she looked confused but asked,

"What?"

"ONLY 6 MORE HOURS BEFORE THE BEST SUMMER EVER!" I screamed causing the whole class to look at me. I laughed awkwardly along with Chloe.

"I'm so excited! Where going to have so much fun!" She said as we sat down. Mr. Conner's walked through the door and the class grew quieter.

After an extremely long boring day at school Chloe, Kelly, Taylor and I were all walking to the bus. As we got on I took a seat next to Kelly and Chloe and Taylor sat opposite us. We started planning for tomorrow the first day of the best summer ever.

"Ok so tomorrow at 11 we all meet at the park then we will walk into town for some summer shopping!" Taylor exclaimed as we all giggled.

"Then we're going back to your house right Leah?" Kelly asked. I nodded with a huge smile on my face.

Once the bus stopped by my house I said goodbye to my friends and happily skipped off.

I opened the door to our 3 bedroom apartment in downtown New York and stepped inside.

"II'm home!" I called out to mum. Luke and Levi where already inside playing video games. Last year they turned 16 and got a car for there birthday. But they refuse to drive me around, honestly I would rather take the bus with my friends.

I walked straight into the kitchen and got out some snacks then I took myself up stairs to my room. I sat down on my bed and unlocked my phone. After a few minutes of doing nothing at all I received a text from an unknown number.

From Unknown:

Hey it's Jaden, Kelly gave me your number x

I gasped the hottest guy in Junior year is texting me this day couldn't get any better.

To Jaden:

Oh haha hey x

From Jaden:

So what's up? x

To Jaden:

Uh nothing really, just waiting for dinner. x

From Jaden:

lol hey can I ask you something? xx

To Jaden:

Sure what's up? x

From Jaden:

Would you uh wanna go out with me sometime? it's okay if you don't its just your super pretty and yeah xxx ;)

I literally screamed and fell off my bed. Jaden, the hottest guy in junior high just asked me out. Words couldn't explain how I was feeling.

To Jaden:

haha yeah I'd love too :) xxx

From Jaden:

yay okay well ill talk to you later okay? xx

To Jaden:

sure :) bye xx

From Jaden:

see ya ;) xx

My life was getting better and better every second. I have 3 amazing friends and a boyfriend to spend my summer with. This really will be the best summer ever!
