2 months later (start of school.)
I groaned and slammed my hand down on my alarm I was so used to summer and being able to sleep till I wanted to. But now I have to go back to school, but not my normal school with my friends, no a whole new school, with new people, and no friends. Well except Caleb.
I spent more than 50% of my summer with Caleb and we have grown to be good friends. We hung out in the park and in town a lot and we often had a really good time. He was funny and I really liked that. He cheered me up even when I was at the lowest of lows.
Anyway back to the topic of school. I have been dreading this for months. I have always hated school with a passion and now that I have to start a new one my passion is going to triple.
After a few minutes of thinking I dragged my small body out of bed and just about toppled over my feet while trying to walk to the bathroom. I was very, very far from a morning person.
After I took a quick shower I blow dried my hair and left it out. I quickly applied some makeup and walked over to my wardrobe to decide what to wear on this awful occasion.
I decided on a white cuffed T-Shirt and some high waisted shorts. Pretty much the same thing I have worn all summer, but it was going into fall now so I could wear all my dark warm comfy clothes that I have been dying to wear.
Once my appearance was all sorted I packed my back pack with all my books, pens and other school stuff and walked down stairs for some breakfast.
I grabbed an orange from the counter fruit filled bowl and cut it up. I also cut up an apple and put them into a bowel. I poured some yogurt and musli over top and started crunching on it.
Once I finished my breakfast and packed some food for school I left the house. Luke and Levi weren't far behind me as we walked to school. I had a major case of the butterflies. I eventually arrived at the two large gates that led into Cameron High School. I walked through the gates and tried my best to not look terrified. After walking into about 20 people and just about tripping over half of them I decided I would leave school and become a professional homeless person. Urg shut up Leah your being stupid, just find the Office and get your timetable.
After 10 minutes of taking directions and getting lost and more awkward people situations I finally arrived at the school office. I was seriously considering just hiding here and not leaving ever. It seemed so calm and urg just much better than the hectic hallways.
"Hi I'm Leah-Rose Williams, I'm new here um would you have my timetable?" I asked the lady at the office. She gave me a warm smile which made me feel a lot better.
"Yes Leah-Rose I do, here you go." She said as she handed me a piece of paper. "You'll also be needing these." She said again as she handed me some more books and papers. I thanked her and left the peaceful haven. Now I have to find my damn class. First period today I had Math. Oh yippie don't ya just love math. I said in my head sarcastically. I sighed and watched the numbers on the doors go past until I found 39B. Just as I found it the bell rang. The door was open and after seeing some others barge on through I let my self in and took a seat in the middle row.
As the rest of the class entered some of them gave me strange looks like 'Who is she.' And I just gave them fake smiles. But everyone else seemed to ignore me which I had no problem with.
