After the parachutes went off rebel aid rushed into the tragic scene in which men, women, children and even peacekeepers where sprawled across. Some clinging on to life and others had already left it behind. Among the faces I could see one that was young, fragile, scared and desperate to make a difference to the child she was tending to's lifespan. When she turned her head I rushed my way through the crowds of desperate and injured capitol citizens, some recognized me and where becoming weary of my presence but I quickly brushed there looks of surprise and some plain faced hatred and focused on my objective. Prim.

When my little duck noticed my presence she quickly came rushing towards me after finding a replacement for her position aiding the capitol child. When we reached each other prim quickly bent down. When she did this my thoughts quickly diverted to the searing pain that was coursing its way through my left thigh that I was previously prevented from feeling by the adrenaline that was coursing through my veins. After having felt this pain that words can not describe I immediately fell to the ground without hesitation. While in the process of falling Prim made her way round me so that she could lower me down to prevent me from any further injury. After having done this she pulled me into a tight embrace and whispered loving words into my ear in a soothing tone.

"I've never been happier to see anyone in my life, I love you Katniss." As I let her words process, I didn't notice her move down my body so that she could tend to the gaping hole in my leg. When she touched the shredded flesh surrounding my wound I made a noise so filled with pain, I was surprised the fact that my vocal chords could even make a noise so awful. After Prim had experienced my high pitched whine and wince from the pain of her tender and healing touch she spoke to me soothingly "shh shh, Katniss your alright you're with me now." After I heard her statement I was surprised by the power her voice and words had to sooth my mind and wound.

After a long while of pain and soothing words from Prim she started to pack up her supplies from her medical kit that where lying in a disorderly fashion around the little satchel that was her medical kit bag. She started to call into the rebels capitol headquarters where myself and 'squad 451' where sent into the city circle from, so that she could request a rebel aid truck clearly stating my name so that there was as little delay as possible for the safe travel of my broken self and my little sister.

While waiting for the truck Prim helped me sit up cause she knew that if I was lying down I would feel even more wounded than I actually was cause of my incompitence in the mine field of the Capitol. After I had successfully sit up against a half destroyed Peacekeeper barricade she wedged herself down beside me and dropped her head onto my left shoulder and asked me a question I didn't quite expect "How did we get here huh?" When she asked it I quickly racked my brain for an answer cause there was none, I didn't know how to answer the simplest of questions so I just responded by wrapping my left arm around her and answered "I don't know Prim, I don't know." With that said my answer that was the definition of mediocrity we sat there in silence awaiting the arrival of our requested rebel aid truck.

When our aid truck arrived three medics all dressed in identical clothing to my baby sister where dismounting the back step of the truck running towards us each of then wielding the corner of a stretcher the single aid medic at the back holding the two back corners and the two male medics clasping a corner each. When they had navigated there way around the bodies, rubble and barricades they all knelt down beside us placing the stretcher down and made there way towards me eyeing my wound and in one quick motion they scooped my limp body onto the stretcher causing a large amount of pain to my wound which resulted in me retorting to there action with an agonising scream that released a huge breath I didn't know I was holding. After my scream pierced the air the tallest male medic abruptly apologized for they're actions and ordered Prim harshly commanding her "Now I need you to stay here and continue tending to the wounded while we take you're sister back to command." when this harsh, broad and tall man said this I managed to get out of my vocal chords a retort "No! She stays with me!" and with that said he looked down and I began to loose consciousness and the last thing I remember is being put in the back of the truck, Prim's fingers entwining with mine and her eyes filled with worry and tears threatening to spill down her gentle cheeks  staring into mine so hard that I think she could feel my mental and physical pain and her voice sing the lyrics to 'Deep in the meadow' and her free hand stroke through my hair.
