It took Jackson about a two minutes to fix the sink, it would have taken me a minute if someone hadn't been staring at my back the entire time.

"Hey one day you'll be gone, off and married to little Sammy and I'll be alone here, I have to learn how to fix shit." Aleksandr stuck his tongue out before adding, "Let's go the the museum future boy."

Jackson looked down at his watch, three minutes had passed, a new record. Jackson and Aleksandr both had special abilities, as most of their friends had picked up. Aleksandr could read minds, the only drawback to it is the fact that he can only read those closest to him. On the other hand, Jackson could see into the future, but only within a three minute span of perfect clarity, after that things became hazy and more or less guesswork.

"I'm not so sure about that, it feels funky." He glanced at Aleksandr before heading to the kitchen sink to clean his cereal bowl.

"That might just be last night's KFC man, you know what it does to you." Aleksandr grins, "Its about noon hopefully Annabella will be awake. I'll call her and we can make it a double date."

He leaves the room to make the call, Jackson still couldn't shake the feeling that something bad would happen whenever they went. However, there wouldn't be any talking Aleksandr out of it if Annabella wanted to go, Jackson hoped she wouldn't.

The phone starts ringing and I fight the urge to throw it across the room, it's to early for human interaction. After seeing who was calling I perked up a bit, it was my Alek.

"Hey baby, hope I didn't wake you up." I grumbled. "Okay so I guess I did wake you up, but I'm going to make it up by taking you to the museum!"

"You woke me up this early just to tell me we're going to a museum." I sighed, my Alek. "Are we at least taking the bike?"

I could hear his signature shit-eating grin through his voice. "You bet your sweet ass we are, I'll pick you up in four hours."

"See you then, love you." He said it back then I promptly slammed my head back into the pillow, I had four hours after all.

*At the museum*

After what felt like hours the four of us are at the "museum." None of them guessed however, unless you count three minutes ago when Jackson saw it, that the Museum is just the name of a new shop for Pagans like us. It had just opened and I wanted to surprise them all with a day of shopping for new herbs, gems/crystals, jars, you know the essentials, and all paid for by yours truly. The smell of incense wafted through the doorway as we went inside, basil and cedar for an all around purification and protection against any harmful spirits.

I nod at Jackson for his little mental lesson, he is more into herbalism, while I'm more into the crystal business. Annabella absolutely loves using spells and curses, and Samuel just kind of does whatever he feels like at the time. I take a moment and look at all of them, and realize how much they actually mean to me, I couldn't live without them. They're my entire world, I would do anything for them, they're family and nothing could change that.

Annabella looks over and flashes me her beautiful smile making me feel warm to my soul.

"I love you Annabella." I whisper under my breath. I walk towards her as she's looking at somethings she needs her one of her newer spells she hasn't tried yet and just wrap my arms around her waist and squeeze.

"You thought about how great it is to have everyone here having a good time didn't you?" She giggles slightly and leans up ever so slightly to kiss me.

"I thought I was supposed to be the mind reader here." I meet her lips and everything falls away. It's just the two of us floating in the empty void of space holding each other close. That is until Jackson comes up and whacks me on the back of my head ruining the moment.

I look over and see Aleksandr and Annabella making out, smashing whatever was under Anna's butt since she sat on the table. The shop owner looks at me in the look I always get when they go at it in public. So I go over and smack the back of his head.

"You two were doing it again and you made the shop keeper uncomfortable, and you smashed some smudge sticks." Aleksandr rubbed where I hit him and awkwardly laughed and waved at the glaring owner. He picked up the smashed smudge sticks and brought them to the counter so he could pay for them.

I looked around for Samuel and found him looking at Ouija boards. He flipped them over reading the rules and rolling his eyes. Oh great I'm about to get a lesson on Ouija boards. I heard Alek let out a laugh and looked back to glare at him.

"You know most people think that Ouija boards will bring out demons and think it acts as a portal to Hell or something?" Samuel huffed and started scrunching his nose in annoyance.

"Like no, whatever you're talking to is already there. That's why you ask if something is there that wants to talk, that's just damn common sense. Even if it was a portal all you have to do is follow the rules and put some basil and maybe sage around and put in some protective runes and sigils in and around the board." He paused to take a breath and I took the opportunity to speak.

"Sam not everyone is as knowledgeable about this stuff as we are baby. They just watch movies and assume they know everything." I cup his cheek and he visibly calms.

"Let's buy it and get out of here, I have a present for you that I have to finish by tomorrow." I take his hand and wait for Alek to pay for it, he grins and we all leave, crushed smudge sticks, a bag of crystals, a Ouija board, and new necklaces for everyone.

We go out to eat together and afterwards I drive Sam home and Alek drives Anna home on the motorcycle. I get home before Alek and start working on Sam's gift. Exactly 32 minutes later Alek comes in and crashes on the couch. Today had been a great day, I wonder what that bad feeling had been earlier, I guess I was wrong.
