Jackson wakes me around noon with the excuse that I'd sleep all day. Grumbling I head to the shower then head up to Annabella's. I take the bike and about half way there some douche bag starts ridding my tail and honking his horn that sounded like it came off a train, giving me a massive migraine. I finally give up and pull off letting him speed pass. Getting back on the road my head starts pounding and my vision starts going in and out, colors fading to basic blue and yellows before returning to normal, I pull over again resisting the urge to vomit, What the Hell is going on I feel like I'm about to die. Minutes feel like hours but eventually my head and vision go back to normal with only a dull ache in the base of my skull.
I reach Annabella's house in a couple minutes, unlocking her front door I head straight to the kitchen's medicine cabinet and down a handful of headache relief pills and swallow it all with a couple swigs of Lipton. Our song drifts from her room upstairs, Death Cab for Cutie's "I'll Follow You Into The Dark." The song hits closer to home than she realizes because she doesn't know about my childhood, and I don't want her to.

"Father forgive me, because I took Tommy's chocolate and told Mother Samantha that Blake did it." I hold my breath waiting for the Father's guidance on how I should repent. "Theft is a serious sin my son, step out and come with me and I'll show you how to atone for your sin." His door opens and I follow suit, he steps into his office and I join him. "This is how you repent my boy." He says as he locks the door.

I shiver at the memory of what happened next, forcing it back down back to the depths of my mind for now. "You know I'm here right Princess?" I call up before I go upstairs so she doesn't mace me like last time I burst through her door while she was just waking up. "Who wouldn't hear you thumping around and slamming cabinet doors? I'll out in a second I just got out of the shower." Her music turns down and I hop on her couch waiting for her, knowing she might attack me again. The headache isn't going down any and I contemplate grabbing a quick nap before she comes down. My eyelids get heavy and I drift off.
I feel something soft press against my lips, I pull Annabella down on top of me and start kissing her neck and cheek before returning to her lips before saying, "You know, I've been woken up before, but it hasn't ever been that worth it." I open my eyes and see that her eyes are favoring blue today. Something in my chest stirs around and the familiar warm feeling spreads around me, I could stay like this forever. "I have a surprise waiting for you baby girl." She gives me a confused look, I pull out my phone and show her the screen. PURCHASED: TWO TICKETS TO PANIC! AT THE DISCO AND WEEZER, JUNE 25TH @ 7 P.M.
In hind sight I should have thought about my headache before showing her because her squeel felt like an ice pick being shoved through my skull. My vision started fading again but quickly returned to normal, the pain meds weren't helping. It took a few minutes before she calmed down and stopped hyperventilating, by then I was in crippling agony but I couldn't let her know that. The pain forces me to sit on her couch and she follows suit, practically bouncing with anticipation. "When are we going, what'll I wear, are we staying for long or just going up for the day?" She keeps questioning me and I can barely keep up, which is when she realises something is wrong.
"What's wrong Aleks?" Her tone immediatley changing from excited to concerned. "Nothing's wrong baby girl I just have the biggest headache of my entire life." I start rubbing my temples trying to release song of the pain to no avail. I feel her move off the couch and hear her walking towards the kitchen. She comes back a few moments later with the same medication that I took earlier. "Baby girl I took like six of those when I got here, I'm all for it but it clearly says to not take more than two every hour and no more than six in a twenty-four hour period so." I trail off, the pain making my head feel like someone was in the process of ripping my skull in two.
Annabella
Oh my god Aleks is dying what do I do? I run upstairs to get my phone and call Jackson when I hear a thud come from downstairs. I rush back down and see Aleks laying on the floor covered in sweat. Screw Jackson, he needs medical help. "Hot, so hot." He mumbles weakly and struggles to get a hold of his shirt. I go and strip him of all his clothes except his boxers and lay him back on the couch. I run back onto the kitchen and get thermometer, I start dialing for an ambulance. I get back to him and stick the thermometer in his mouth and hit enter.
"Nine-one-one what is your emergency?" The woman on the other end asked. "My boyfriend needs an ambulance he saying his head is hurting and hes pouring sweat, I just checjed his temperature and it says he is running a one-hundred and seven degree temperature." Saying it out loud I realise that it doesn't sound as drastic as watching him in pain until I notice something, he isn't breathing. "GET SOMEONE OVER HERE NOW HE ISN'T BREATHING, MY ADDRESS IS 184 CHARLES AVENUE ON THE EAST SIDE."
I throw my phone and start trying to use CPR on him. Check for any obstructions, one, two, three, breathe into his mouth, nothing, repeat. I keep going like this until the paramedics arive and take him away, me following close behind. The Cd he burned for me starts playing, our song starts and it calms me down some. "Love of mine, someday you will die." Well that is enough of that, I turn the CD off, there will be no dying today. The ambulance has it's lights on but no siren, making me fear the worst.
