Chapter 11: The Arena

Before we start I have to let you know that I do NOT own Fairy Tail *sigh* it belongs to Hiro Mashima. The story however is mine. Just make sure you know that m'kay?

Chapter 11: The Arena (Lucy's POV)

The screen switches again and Layla looks up at me from her food. "This is what you have been doing this entire time? Watching a screen?" She asks and I nod. "I've been giving them support throughout their fights-" I am cut off by a voice in the lacrima. "Then you better do the same for me, Lucy." I immediately recognized it as Erza's. An arena with two women in armor and a crowd of demons pops on the screen. "Greetings. I am Ayli of the Arena, whom might you be?" A woman with blonde hair asks. The crowd of demons cheers at the sound of her name. "Erza Scarlet." Erza answers and the crowd boos.

"Well, Erza Scarlet, like the others before and after you, you have a challenge." Ayli says and Erza smirks. "Whatever challenge may come up, Fairy Tail will always win." Erza says. Ayli laughs and grins. "Don't make me laugh! You tiny fairy's won't be able to beat us." She cackles. "Now for our challenge. You must defeat all the demons in this room and beat me." Erza tilts her head "And the challenge?" Erza asks and Ayli looks furiously at her. "Demons, attack!" she yells and the demons rise from the stands and attack Erza. "Requip: Heaven's Wheel!" Erza shouts "Dance, my blades!" Blades shoot at the demons and as soon as they get hit, they disappear. Erza smirks and fights the demons after using the blades to test them. "This is no challenge for her at all!" Layla exclaims.

After the small meal, I can't help but squirm. My bladder feels as if it would explode. "I need to use the bathroom." I say, not sure of what to do. I look around the room for something that could help me. Then I spot it. "Vayen, I see your camera lacrima. Can I use the bathroom?" I say to the camera. Vayen stomps into the room a few moments later and drags me by the chains. He throws me into a bathroom and waits by the door. I quickly relieve myself of discomfort and look around.

A tiny window sits high on the wall. The window is big enough for me to slip through. Though my hands are chained, I manage to climb up. This window isn't barred up so I slip through. I land on a roof and hide from being spotted from the windows. I hear the doors open and Vayen scream with rage. Troops start to pour out of the castle. Birds fly around the castle and spot me. The chains around my ankles and wrists rub my skin raw as I run.

I scramble around the edge and I run into Vayen. He glares down at me and I try to escape by running again. Vayen pulls the chains and I jerk back. I am dragged back to the room where Layla is and strung up once again. Vayen connects a few wires then a control panel ( Kinda like Hibiki's Archive Magic) appears. A few buttons later and I hear a machine starting up. Vayen twists a knob and powerful lightning strikes. I groan a bit, but stay intact. The knob twists, more lightning. More and more until I can't stand the amount of pain. I scream. Vayen laughs evilly at my agony. After a while, it stops. I look ahead at the screen. Erza had defeated all the demons and is now head to head against Ayli.

"Hear that? That was your little friend making a mistake. And here I was thinking that she was a Wizard Sai-" Erza lunges at Ayli. She requips into her Purgatory Armor. By the looks of it, Ayli's magic is in weapons, but is still wearing a powerful armor. She may be one of the celestial spirits I have heard of, The Armored Spirit. Erza raises her sword to block Ayli's attack and pushes her back. Ayli crashes into a wall and Erza attack with her sword. Ayli ducks and hits Erza in the stomach. Erza hits Ayli in the side with her sword and the armor breaks easily. Erza keeps striking Ayli until her armor is completely broken.

I keep watching till my eyes droop. My whole body is sore and in pain. I hang by chains, limp. I feel blood trickle down my arms and legs from the chains. I see Erza standing over her beaten rival and Wendy and Gajeel running to her. I close my eyes and feel myself slip away in exhaustion.
