Chapter 2: The Kidnapped Bride

Before we start I have to let you know that I do NOT own Fairy Tail *sigh* it belongs to Hiro Mashima. The story, however, is mine. Just make sure you know that m'kay?

Chapter 2: The Kidnapped Bride (Natsu's POV)

Lucy's hand does limp in Vayens grasp. The people run around in chaos, screaming and crying. Vayen's dead. Lucy killed him...yet I see him flying away with Lucy in his hand. He got away with her once, but never again. I start running after him. I push myself faster than I have ever gone before. "Lucy!" I shout and launch myself at Vayen. My fingertips brush against hers and I start falling. I hit the ground hard and crack the earth below me. Lucy is now out of my reach. My white suit is now brown with dust and dirt. I don't move from my position as I watch the small, flying figure in the distance disappear.

I sit up in complete silence and walk back to the park where the wedding is being held. My expression is cold as I walk through the crowd of people. None of them dare bother me because of my position. As soon as I am out of sight, I start running. I get to my house and change out of the uncomfortable suit into my regular vest and pants. I also pack a small bag and put on my cloak. The outfit I am wearing and my mood are all too familiar since it has been my way for 2 years.

I exit the house and begin on a trail toward the way Vayen took Lucy. I pass the park where people look at me in confusion. "Natsu, where's your suit?" Grey asks and I glare at him. "Why would I wear a suit to a fight?" I say every word like it was venom in my mouth. "Natsu, you can't fight him alone." Gramps states. I continue to walk on. "I won't be alone because Lucy is there." Gramps stretches his arm to grab me, but I side-step it. Then the one voice I could never disobey speaks up. "Natsu, I know you are hurting about Lucy, but there is nothing you can do. The Vayen that beat you up bad was a weak clone compared to the actual one! You can't take him on with just Lucy, so come back to the guild. We need to start planning. I don't know if the other wedding is still going on, but you need to stay here."

Igneel ended his little speech and I stop in my tracks. So many emotions fill me all at once. Anger, fear, sadness, regret. I clench my fist. I turn around and I hear several sighs in relief. The wedding was re setup, but as the ceremony took place, everyone looked at me in pity. I sat on Igneel during the ceremony, trying to not either: Cry really loudly, destroy everything, run away, or run to find Lucy. On my finger is the ring that I exchanged with Lucy. I mess with it a bit, trying to ignore the event.

The after party was really no party. Everyone sat around depressed. This is two years all over again, though Lucy isn't dead...I hope. I sit with Levy and Gajeel who are flipping through books, trying to find knowledge on Vayen. Gajeel 'accidentally' got into reading because of reading and now teases Levy by telling her that he will tell the ending to the book Levy is reading. One time he did and chaos around the guild was mostly because of the pregnant bookworm.

Levy found a layout of his castle and a biography while Gajeel found a book about kiwis for Lily. I already know his weaknesses, celestial magic, and lightning, but our most powerful celestial mage is not here. Mavis swung by for the wedding but is now deciding to stay in the guild while this event takes place. Laxus agreed to help as much as he can if I didn't tell about his and Mira's relationship. Juvia and Grey are now officially married but decided to stay home after the sad event.

I sit with Levy and Gajeel and decide to ignore everything. I remember what Vayen said. "...holds more power than the tower of heaven." Does Lucy really have that much power? I remember the day she died like it was yesterday. When she set her power to 100% it wasn't as great as the tower of heaven, but when she was resurrected, her magic power came back to her almost instantly. I stand up and start walking to the library. Levy and Gajeel look at me curiously. "Natsu, what are you doing?" Levy asks. "When Lucy set her power to 100% two years ago, it wasn't as much as the tower of heaven, but Vayen said that Lucy had this much power. Don't you think that is weird?" Levy keeps looking at me, then gasps. "You're absolutely right!" She screams and runs downstairs. Since the guild was quiet, they heard the entire conversation. Everyone starts whispering quietly about their theories.

Levy runs back up with a book. "Do we have a book about everything?" I mumble to myself. "Yes we do Natsu," Gajeel says. "Don't you remember? Levy and I 'accidentally' destroyed the Magic Library, so we had to take in all the books. That was the same week where we expanded the library." Gajeel says in a 'you know' kinda tone. "Hmm? I didn't even notice." Gajeel facepalms

"That's because you were hanging out with your fiance!"

"Isn't that a good reason enough?"

Gajeel's next comment was cut off by Levy reading from the book.

After a person has been resurrected by either a fatal spell where you can be cursed or celestial keys, the person will have almost an infinite amount of magic power. When a person dies, they are cast into the celestial spirit world to become a spirit. The Zodiac Keys are able to reach out and grab the soul before it turns into a spirit. The person will then be filled with celestial magic from the spirit world. Since the person has been risen from the dead, they have all four origins.

Everyone knows about the 1st origin which holds your normal magic, your second origin stores extra magic which you can unlock, your third origin(If ever used) han take away your abilities to use magic if not used properly, but those who have been resurrected from the dead can unlock the fourth and final origin. This is the storage that collects magic and once unlocked, you will be able to obtain magic faster. Making the resurrected person with infinite magical power.

"So then Lucy does have that kind of power!" Gajeel says. "And so does Natsu," Levy says and everyone looks at me. "I do?" I ask and Levy nods and runs downstairs again to reveal a book I haven't seen in years, Darkness Uncovered. Levy reads a part of the book.

Natsu Dragneel is his younger brother and was sent to train in Fire Dragonslaying magic. Natsu was dead for awhile until Zeref cast a spell cursing him with immortality.

"Don't you see Natsu? Zeref cast the spell, resurrecting you from the dead, making you have an unlocked fourth origin."
