They complimented each other perfectly. He was dark, and she was light.
They were different, don't misunderstand, they were polar opposites. But they loved the other more than anything in the whole world.
The two were rarely apart, as they were pulled together at a young age. When they were small, they used to fight like cats and dogs, but something always drew them to each other.
She preferred the brightness and the light of the day, while he thrived in the dark of the night.
Neither could exist without the other. Like day can't happen without the night. They needed each other. If one disappeared, everything would be off.
But neither even dreamed of disappearing. The two always protected each other and would do anything to keep the other safe.
