Meeting a Demigod

The next day I wake up early and stretch in bed. I was extremely exhausted from last night but my things that I had bought yesterday for my home will be arriving today. I'm very excited and I think Kris did a wonderful job at picking them out.

Kris! How could I forget? That's right I wanted to look up this 'cosplay' thing online and also see what her YouTube channel, thealchemicfox was all about.

It didn't take me to long to look up online to learn more about cosplay. According to Google, cosplay is "the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game, especially one from the Japanese genres of manga and anime."

So basically it's a more serious take on costuming and acting. That's pretty cool that most people dress up as manga and anime characters! Hmm, I wonder if Kris has done anything with Attack on Titan or Avatar: The Last Airbender. I really love those shows, I'll make a mental note to ask her.

In addition to cosplay I found out that cosplayers like to go to conventions, much like D23, and meet other cosplayers. Some of them give talks and role play as their character. A few even make a living off of doing this. Maybe I could interview Kris for my Youtube channel, I normally interview Broadway, music, or movie stars, but I think my fans might like to get to know a little bit about the cosplaying world. I know I want to know more.

I sigh, it will have to wait sometime till I can ask her about that interview. I don't want to scare her off with my everyday lifestyle. I mean that's partially the reason as to why I moved here in the first place, to escape from all the madness that is my life. I wanted a fresh start where no one would know me.

I can't believe I've already spent 3 hours online looking up and learning about the cosplaying world. The store's van will be here in just a few minutes with all my things for the kitchen, bathroom, and living room that I bought yesterday. I quickly get ready for them to arrive when I hear a knock. I open my front door to see the delivery man.

"Are you a one Christopher Remerez?"

"Yes that's me,"

I sign the form and have the guy and his crew put everything in their designated areas. For instance, stuff for the kitchen goes in the kitchen. Once they are done I spend the day unpacking my boxes. It isn't till the sun is setting that I've realized that most of my day is shot.

I just remember that Kris said she'd be posting that Friday's with Frost video on YouTube today. I go to her channel and check it out, I realize that the thumnail is of me looking at the camera. I look suspicious, but bad ass as Percy. The title of the video says, 'Meeting a Demigod' which I really like as it fits with the thumbnail. I watch the video and I must say she did a fantastic job on it. The effects look amazing and it seriously looks like she froze that tree and I melted the snow turning it into water.

Kris is a talented actress and a natural next to me. I see great things in her future. I wonder what the comments say in the video? Looking at them was my mistake.
