“Wake up little sis!” A deep voice said.
“Jake, it’s too early, she’ll be pissy.” Said in a low voice
“Cole, we have a lot to do!”
“Ugh..” I moaned. “What do you guys want?!”
“I told you.” Cole said.
“Well…aren’t you excited to see us.” Jake said sarcastically. Jake and Cole are my oldest and only siblings I have. They were about two years older than me.
I just arrived last night from Florida and they arrived couple hours after that but I fell asleep before they got here. Aren’t they tired at all?!
I stared at both of them without saying anything.
“Mom and dad went grocery and Christmas shopping and they told us to get a tree.” Cole said while seating on the edge of the bed.
“Like old times.” Jake said. “We will be leaving in twenty minutes so get ready soon.”
“Do I have to go?” I whined.
“Of course!” Cole shouted.
“Ugh..”
“Were stopping at the mall first, were meeting up with some friends.” Jake said.
“OMG the mall?!” I shot up. The past months I had been too busy for school, so I haven’t been to the mall in forever and I’m craving to spend money on useless things.
“Should’ve known..” Cole said slowly, eyeing me.
“What? Shopping is my hobby, you guys had girlfriends, you should know this.” Giving them a knowing smile.
“Mhmh…” Jake said while walking out of my room.
“Well get ready.” Cole patted my leg and left, closing the door behind him.
I got out of my bed and quickly change into jeans, sweatshirt and boots. I look out of my window, make that two or three sweatshirts….The place were covered in white. I put on some makeup and pulled my hair in a messy bun. Done.
I grabbed my purse and ran downstairs to the kitchen. Finding Cole and Jake on their phones.
Cole looked up. “Ready?” He asked.
“Yup.” I answered.
All three of us climbed into Cole’s truck. Jake was in the front seat while I was in the back.
“How’s life in college?” I ask both of my brothers.
“Ah you know.” Jake replied. “Party, girls, football.” I saw him shrug.
Cole rolled his eyes.
“It’s great.” Cole said. He was really focusing on the road, seeing the town was covered in snow and the road was icy.
If I die young, I just want to say…I’m not a vir-. “How about you little sis?” Jake asked.
“It’s alright, first year.” I answered.
“It’ll get better, I promise.” Jake turned around, looking at me. “But just don’t get pregnant.” He said jokingly but a hint of seriousness.
He knew I wasn’t a virgin but Cole didn’t know that. He was more a serious type and if he knows he’ll freak.
Couple minutes after, we arrived at the mall safely. When we got inside there were a lot of crazy people trying to get there Christmas shopping down. Christmas was only a week away and I haven’t even started my shopping yet, crap.
“Were you going to be?” Cole asks from beside me.
“Victoria Secret.” I reply.
“Ok, me and Jake is going to the food court, better have your phone with you.” Cole said.
“Yes, Dad..” I said jokingly.
“Yeah, yeah.” Cole said while walking away with Jake.
“Bye.” Jake waved at me.
I wave back.
I start to walk to Victoria Secret, it was only a couple stores down were I was.
When I got there, I picked up some underwear and bra set for Kaley, my best friend and yes she wanted Victoria Secret underwear and bra for Christmas. It was leopard print, the boy would be satisfied when he sees this, I thought to myself, knowing Kaley in bed. I shopped some more and was ready to check out.
“That will be $112.46.” Said the skinny brunette girl. Her boobs looked like it was going to explode through her shirt. It was totally fake.
I swiped my debit card and she handed me my receipt.
“Thank you.” She said with her fake smile.
I also smiled back, but a real smile.
Kaley is done, now my parents and my brothers left.
