Seth's POV

"Okay, d'you wanna come over tomorrow to finalise everything?" I asked her. She gave me a small smile and a nod before disappearing down the hall. Grinning, I shut the door and turned around.

Oh just wait until Dean and Roman hear this.

Shannon's POV

Oh god. I'd done it. Oh god, oh god, oh god. I can't afford to be panicking right now, if I'm going to do this properly, I need to be 100% focused.

I'd gone to see the hounds, but Dean and Roman were out, so I spoke to Seth instead. We had planned for me to betray Saraya at Hell In A Cell, seeing as we had a match against AJ and Kaitlyn. I felt bad, of course I did, but it's my time now. To be fairly honest, I'm surprised Saraya hasn't done anything particularly betrayal like to me yet, considering what I heard her say not so long ago.

I know I can do this. I know I can build a legacy for myself, with The Shield. I just have to execute the plan without fault, and if I do that, well, I'm officially part of The Shield. I have to go back tomorrow and finish discussing the plan, with the rest of the Hounds. It's nerve wracking really, I'm sure Nikki would never betray Brie, or vise versa. I sighed. Regardless, I have to do what's right for me.

Saraya may think that I'm weighing her down or whatever, but soon, I'll be beating her.

You can do this, Shannon.

I took a deep breath as I knocked on their hotel room door. I definitely cannot back out now.

"Shannon! How lovely to see you! Come in" Roman enthusiastically greeted me at the door. A bit too enthusiastic for so early in the morning. It seemed that Dean and Seth thought so too, as both looked as if they had just woken up - which they probably had.

Dean's hair was sticking up in multiple directions and he was shuffling about in just a pair of pajama bottoms as he stuffed his mouth with a food I couldn't identify because he ate it so fast.

Seth looked slightly fresher, although his eyes were half shut. I'm surprised he can see. Nevertheless, he gave me a sleepy smile as he welcomed me.

"Morning Shan. Excuse the mess." He motioned at Dean, who now had crumbs lurking around in his stubble.

"Sorry I'm so early, I - uh - had some trouble sleeping" I apologised, scratching the back of my neck.

Roman patted me on the back with a wide smile.

"You're here now" He said "So, let's talk business. You and Seth agreed Hell In a Cell right?" I nodded. "It's you and Paige vs AJ and Kaitlyn?" I nodded again.

"So now it's just finer details" Dean said, whilst still eating, so he sprayed a mouthful of crumbs in Roman's direction, which earned him a scowl and a glare.

I suppressed a laugh before I began to speak. "I was thinking of doing it right as the match begins, but I'm not too sure"

I looked over at Seth, who appeared to be deep in thought. "She'd have to be in the ring with you, if you were to attack her" He mused.

I nodded. "That's what I was thinking, I could do it, just before the bell goes, or after it goes"

"As long as you hit her before the match begins, it's all good" Dean contributed, thankfully food-free this time.

"Way to put it nicely, Dean" I said sarcastically. He shrugged, and Roman placed a hand on my shoulder.

"This whole deal isn't nice, Shannon. Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked.

I nodded quickly. "We all make sacrifices, Saraya beat mum for her first title, it's not really that different"

"Yes it is" Dean interjected.

"No, it's not" I argued.

"It is"

"Is not!"

"Yes it i-"

"GUYS!" Seth yelled, silencing Dean and I, also startling me in the process.

"This is not the time for petty arguments. You two-" He jabbed a finger at Dean, and then me. "-are on a team now. That means communication, trust and most of all, no bickering. Got it?"

I nodded in response. I'd never seen this authoritative side of Seth before, and I was slightly scared of what would happen if I didn't do what he said. However, Dean simply smirked smugly, and slowly rose from his position on the sofa.

"Whatever you say, boss" He slapped a hand on Seth shoulder as he walked past, on his way to the bathroom. I assume, to freshen up.

Seth's gaze followed Dean until he was out of sight. It was not a happy gaze either. Roman and Seth started up their own conversation, I wasn't entirely sure what it was about, I wasn't listening.

Everything was set now. The time, the place, the exact time and the exact place. All I have to do, is to not fuck it up.

No pressure, Shan. No pressure at all.

wow look who updated after a million years.
