Conflicted // The Shield

I really enjoyed last night with Dolph. It was nice to hang out with someone different, and just let loose for a while.

Right now though, I'm sitting in a dainty little cafe just down the street from our hotel. The peace and quiet was nice as I sat there, alone with a cup of coffee. I didn't mind being alone. In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed solitude. To me, there's nothing better than laying in bed, the curtains closed, lights off and listening to some really great music. That was my way to relax.

It also helped to calm me down. If do it if I was angry, upset or just feeling anything other than happiness.

"Hey, Stranger" A familiar voice popped my personal thought bubble.

"Seth" I greeted and he sat down.

"Alone today?" He asked.

I responded with a nod. "It's nice to have some peace and quiet y'know?" He nodded back.

"I agree, sometimes Dean and Roman get on my nerves" He laughed. "So, you given joining the most indestructible force in the WWE anymore thought?"

"Dean asked me that yesterday" I told him, then sighed. "I'd love to, I would absolutely love to join The Shield"

"Then what's stopping you? We'd love to have you on our team. Don't tell Dean I told you, but he thinks you're the most talented and most beautiful diva on the roster"

I tried not to blush. "It's just... I feel awful turning my back on Saraya. I don't think I have it in me to betray her, as much as I want it" I answered honestly.

"Okay well, just remember, if you want it so badly, then you shouldn't let anything stand in your way. It's make it or break it time, Shan" And with that, Seth stood up and walked out, but gave me a small smile before he left.

Seth was right. If I want this so badly, I shouldn't let anything come between it.

Dean's POV

I was desperate for Shannon to join The Shield. I knew Roman and Seth would love her too, but I was adamant that I wanted her to join. I couldn't explain.

"How are y'all feeling about Shannon joining?" I asked Seth and Roman.

"She hasn't agreed yet" Roman reminded me.

"Yeah, but she will. I mean, who wouldn't to join us?" I asked smugly.

"Turning on her twin sister is gonna hard for her, Dean. Especially since she's the nice, caring one" Seth said.

I sighed. "Do you think if she joins us she'll have to be all badass and stuff? I don't think the innocent, sweet little girl she plays really screams 'Shield' " I mused aloud.

"I think she'd look awesome in Shield gear" Roman said.

"Can she just join already?" Seth moaned, flapping his hands about.

"All in good time Rollins, all in good time"
