-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We both stared at my stomach.

"We have to get it out of you," Eric thought.

"What? Why?" I gasped in shock.

"We don't know what it'll do to you. It could kill you," Eric whispered.

"We don't know if she's got wings, or she's in face human," I fired back, replacing Eric's hand with my own.

"I don't care. I'm not going to take risks with you, Bella,"

Aghh! He can be so stubborn!

"It's not even your baby," I shrieked, and felt an unsettling flutter in my womb. I put my other hand to it, soothingly. I took a deep breath, calming us both down, then stood up and walked to the door.

"We're going to get some fresh air. If you value your life, don't follow us."

I knew martial arts, so it was true. I could kick some serious ass.

Eric clenched his jaw a moment, then unclenched it. He sighed, collapsing on his bed.

I didn't bother waiting to see his answer. I ran to my room,  and slammed my door shut with alotta power. It made a huge bang, and I burst into tears; letting it all out.

"Bella, I'm sorry. I freaked," Eric's thoughts echoed into my head.

"Fuck off, Eric!" I yelled into my pillow.

"Bella? Bella, what's wrong?" James thought, holding onto my door handle. He flew over to me in a heartbeat, gently prying my arms away from the pillow.

"What's wrong Bella?" He asked again, warming my cold arms with his hands.

"She's freezing," James thought in shock, as I threw my arms around his neck, burrowing my head in his shoulder. Tears were streaming down my face. For once, I was glad I wasn't wearing make-up.

"You brother is such a bastard!" I sobbed. I felt James' husky laugh vibrate through me softly; his breath heating up my freezing cold ear.

"You jusr realised?" He asked sarcastcially. "I've been pretending to be friends with him ever since you got here. Finally I can wind him up again-" He stopped short, as a weird feeling came from my womb.

James pulled away from me, searching me with his intense brown eyed gaze with concern.

"What happened with Shortie and you?" He asked in a soft whisper.

I couldn't speak. I was too busy staring at my stomach in disbelief.

"Did you feel that too just now? Or was it just me?" I whispered.
