I need to finish this story! Only 41 more pages to go. Maybe a sequel? I've started on one but don't know where it's going.
Love Always, Evelyn Rose.
We had an amazing time; I have to leave the next day, finishing the wedding planning. For the next couple of months it’s the same thing; long nights, happy reunions, sad goodbyes, wedding planning, late video chats and calls, texts here and there. It was difficult but we made it.
Two more weeks until the wedding, Harry finally comes home. That morning, I stand in the warm airport, short jean shorts, a tank top, sunglasses and my beloved converses. Excitement is killing me. The plane number is called, I wait impatiently. There they all are. Each coming up and hugging me, Harry drops his stuff and runs passed everyone to me. He hugs me so tightly. “Welcome home baby.” I whisper in his ear, he kisses me, and we never want to part from it. We get into the car and go on home, Paul is bringing Harry's car to the house tomorrow.
Getting home things immediately get hot. Finally since months of waiting we can finally be together with privacy, the clothes flying everywhere, intense kisses. He throws me onto the bed with force, making me bounce, “Do you even know how long I’ve waited to do this?” “Yeah, I wanted you so much lately, like more than usual.” Our lips lock again; he rips my underwear off into two separate pieces, the same with my bra. That day was the most, intense, passionate, loving, rough time we’ve ever had together.
Afterwards we just want to lay there with each other, something we haven’t got to do in months. “We have wedding things to do tomorrow, final things.” “Like what?” He asks, kissing my forehead softly. Listening to the beat of his heart, laying on his bare chest, feeling his heat on my skin, these are the things that mean everything to me. I love Harry and can’t believe in only two weeks I’ll be his wife. “The guys and your tuxedos have to be fitted one last time, I want to show you the centerpieces, the venue, the food, and we still have to pick out the cake, the personal touches, and the rings.” “You left out your dress.” He says smirking against my skin, I look up at him smiling, “What about it?” “Don’t I get to see it?” “Yeah, in two weeks.” He pouts making me smile. I kiss his nose, and he finally smiles.
“What about the honeymoon?” He asks, whispering in my ear. “Where would you like to go?” “Hm, what about Barbados?” “Perfect!” I yell, “What about your lingerie?” He purrs, “You’ll see them that night, and trust me,” I lean up in his ear, “It will be worth it.” I say quietly, I bite his ear and then get up.
We fix supper and then go back to bed. We can finally fall asleep in each other’s arms. We fall asleep with smiles and giggles.
That morning we have to get up early, final wedding things, Harry loves everything I’ve picked, when he goes for his fitting I go from mine as well. Skylar calls me, “Leigh, did you want me to get you that thing?” “Yes, I’ll probably be home before him so just leave it on the counter and I’ll get it.” “Okay, you have to call me, but when are you going to tell him?” “After I take it, why worry him if it might not be true?” “Okay well call me once you find out.” I hang up, and take my dress off; I thought I had some time before I needed to be home. I go on to Starbucks, Harry had gone on home without me, and I didn’t know it. I grab us both a coffee and then go home.
I see Harry’s car sitting there ‘Oh, shit.’ I think. I walk in and there stands Harry, the bag in his hand. “Leigh-Ann, would you like to explain what this is?” He holds it out; I know exactly what it is. A pregnancy test. “Harry, I’ve missed my last two periods, I was going to take it and when you got home tell you. I didn’t want to worry you over nothing.” He drops it, “Are you? I mean do you think you are?” “I don’t know, Harry I-“ He interrupts me “Leigh, if you are, we will get married as promised and then raise this baby together, I’m not going to leave you if you are.” He kisses me, “Harry I’m scared.” “I know, I am too.” He hugs me tightly; this right here could change everything.
I take the bag and we walk to the bathroom. I shut the door and finish taking it. I sit in the bathroom by myself, waiting. I hear the guys, “Harry, why are you sitting like that in front of the door?” Harry’s head flashes up to them, fear runs through my heart when I hear them out there. It’s time to read it. I breathe and then pick it up. Before Harry can respond he hears the door unlock, he falls back when I open the door. His eyes are wide and filled with nerves. My stomach is in knots, my heart racing, I hear them run and see me standing there with the test in my hand.
